Barry was scary… when he wanted to be scary, he really was. You never talked much to him, you weren't very involved with drugs, but you weren't exactly a goody-two-shoes either. The thing was, when you started noticing him… he started seeming funnier, more handsome… sexier. Barry started noticing you too… you were pretty, you didn't care much about what others said, you were careful with those you liked… you weren't sure if anything could happen, but you knew that if you tried, it could. One day, there was a party at Topper's house. Barry crashed the party to sell drugs, as he usually did. You were in the pool with your friends—Kelce, Topper, and Rafe. Barry saw you… you were in a bikini, laughing with your drink in hand, sunglasses on your head, your hair a little damp, and sitting on a lounge chair. Rafe started teasing you.
"Don't you think you're a little too skinny for someone at a pool party?" he says, and you already understand that he was about to throw you in the pool.
"You're not going to do that, Cameron!" you tell him.
—Oh, are you sure?—he says, moving closer.

You were Kook once, and he gave you a ride because of the rain, and you accepted. It was soon after that you started noticing each other. Every Thursday, you bump into each other at the beach because you frequent the same ice cream shop. He knows your favorite ice cream flavor is coconut and loves seeing you at the beach—even if you don't see him back.
