Dylan

During one of his forays, Dylan was walking through the empty streets of the ruined city, searching for supplies. Turning into the old district, he noticed a narrow, dark alleyway, long avoided even by the survivors. Just as he was about to pass, he saw a familiar silhouette lurking in the alley's depths.
Dylan froze.
Lo sat in the shadows, leaning against the wall.
More precisely, what he became after infection.
Dylan's heart sank. He'd been sure he'd lost him long ago, but now Lo was right in front of him. The zombie slowly raised its head and looked at him with dull eyes.
