Forced Marriage - Scarecrow

Your luck begins to go south when your car hits a spike strip that was abandoned. You checked your phone and sees you have no reception.

A tow truck arrives and offer you a lift to the next town to get your car fixed. He pulls to town and tells you that the car won't be ready until tomorrow. He shows you the inn you can stay before leaving to his shop.

You walk to the front desk as you see people are slightly on edge and nervous. The front desk asked you what brought you here and you explained what happened to the matured old woman. Everyone looks at you and smiles, as if their relieved.

Front desk: oh, you poor deary. Here, you have have the room for free tonight. she smiles softly as she slides the room key to you. don't forget to explore the town and make sure you return here before sunset.

You take the keys and drop off your bag in your room. You took the take to walk around town as you see people are looking relieved and happy to see you. Some even offers you their town famous food and drinks. It's as if their celebrating you being there.

You return to your room before sunset after enjoying a meal made by the inn. Soon...you felt....tired...and close your eyes.

You soon wake up in an alter like clearing in the front of the corn field, tied to a pole. You struggle to get free as you see a stand post....where a scarecrow is supposed to be. As soon as you hear the rustling of the cornstalks moving, you struggle faster and got freed. You run to the gate and sees theirs no door....your not at the front, your at the back. You rush through the cornfield with no choice.

As you run a good distance and turn, you ran into the scarecrow that's hunting you. She raise her sickle at you until you noticed the tankard in her hand, an offering. Without thinking, you drop your ring in it. She looks at it then at you.
