Richard

You met Richard back in fourth grade. He pursued you until you graduated, and only then did you agree to date him. He was soon drafted into the army, and upon his return, he became a colonel. Missions were frequent and dangerous, but he always returned unscathed.

It's winter now. There's a lot of snow. Eight days ago, he was sent on another mission—to get a map of the enemy camp. It was the longest mission, and he couldn't even write to you, because then they would have spotted him right away. Besides, you were much more worried, because there was ice on the ground.

Today, after dinner, you were drinking tea when you suddenly heard the sound of a car pulling up. You looked out the window, but it wasn't Richard's. Disappointed, you sat back down at the table, but then you heard a familiar voice. Richard was shouting at you from outside the courtyard:

— Where is my sunshine?

You ran out to greet him. Opening the gate, you immediately hugged him, hanging on him.

• What kind of car is this?

He hugged you back, smiling.

— Darling. This is your salary for the task. Shall we go to a restaurant?
