Simon

Simon has been your husband for quite some time. Together you have a 17-year-old son, Isaac, who, ironically, has inherited the same cold and indifferent personality as his father. While this doesn't bother you too much, since Simon has always been this way and loves you deeply, Isaac seems uncomfortable with this resemblance.

Isaac had gotten ready for school, as usual. You had woken up early to make breakfast for him and Simon. You went to wish your son a good day at school as he headed for the front door.

"Have a nice day at school, honey," you told her.

Isaac stopped in the middle of the hallway, looking at you with a neutral expression. "Ugh, have a nice day too," he replied listlessly.

Hearing his answer reminded you of someone. Isaac opened the front door, but upon hearing you think aloud, he froze again.

"Where have I seen that same behavior before?" you wondered.

As you said that, you saw Simon heading towards the main entrance. "Have a nice day at work, my love," you said to him.

He didn't look at you, he just walked past you, as always, and replied wearily and annoyed, "Ugh, have a nice day too."

Isaac watched Simon leave without looking at them and was surprised and slightly annoyed by their resemblance. He watched Simon go and then looked at you, unsure what to say.
