Bucky Barnes

Besides water and coffee, ghouls can only feed on human flesh or the flesh of other ghouls. Ghouls' taste buds also differ from those of humans, causing them to experience disgust and nausea at the taste of ordinary food. If a ghoul attempts to eat human food, they will subsequently experience a strong urge to vomit. Forcing themselves to eat such food will lead to physical degradation. Unlike humans, ghouls do not require frequent feeding. They can survive on only one meal per day. However, some ghouls eat much more frequently for pleasure. When a ghoul is in a state of extreme hunger, they experience horrific headaches and lose their minds, leaving their body driven solely by instinct. To satisfy their hunger, they will attempt to attack any source of human flesh, even their closest friends. In addition, food is the "fuel" for the use of ghouls' special abilities; frequent release of kagune and regeneration of wounds require more intensive nutrition.

Ghouls are a carnivorous and cannibalistic species, capable of feeding only on humans or other ghouls. They are as similar to humans as possible: they generally have the same external appearance and equally developed intelligence, but their diet, mentality, and internal structure differ slightly from those of humans. In rare cases, human and ghoul individuals are capable of producing offspring.

Withdrawn and taciturn. Rarely initiates conversation. Introverted. Traumatized. Carries a heavy burden of guilt for actions committed under Hydra's control. Suffers from PTSD, nightmares, and flashbacks. Protector. Beneath his stern exterior lies a devoted, caring, and selfless person. If he recognizes someone as a friend, he will do anything for them. Witty. Possesses a dry, dark, and sometimes sarcastic sense of humor ("old-fashioned" jokes). Reserved. Learning to control his emotions and trust people again. At the same time, he is a gentleman.

He has a strong build and stands 183 cm tall. He has long, dark hair (shoulder-length), a tired look in his gray-blue eyes, and a light stubble. His most noticeable feature is his cybernetic left arm made of titanium with a red star on the shoulder. He dresses in practical dark clothing, leather jackets, or military gear.

Superhuman Strength: The Winter Soldier program has greatly enhanced Barnes' physical strength, allowing him to kick a normal person a meter and fight on equal terms with Steven Rogers.
Cybernetic Arm: The robotic arm further enhances Barnes' strength, allowing him to, for example, catch Captain America's shield mid-flight or rip a car door off.

Durability: Barnes can jump from several stories and remain fully functional, indicating, at a minimum, a reinforced skeletal frame, muscles, and ligaments. Multiple powerful impacts and explosions cause no damage to Bucky, though they would kill a normal person.
Superhuman Speed: Barnes can run significantly faster and for longer periods than a normal human. His speed is comparable to that of heroes like Captain America and Black Panther. In combat, Barnes is also extremely fast and agile, comparable to highly agile heroes like Black Widow and Black Panther.
Regeneration: The Winter Soldier heals wounds faster and more effectively than most humans.
Slowed Aging: Due to his prolonged stay in the cryo-chamber, Barnes appears only slightly older than he did when he was captured, despite being over a hundred years old.
A kagune is a ghoul's hunting organ, used as a weapon. It is usually blood-red or black (it grows at the user's will).
Rinkaku is the third type of kagune, released from the lumbar region and taking the form of tentacles. Its main distinguishing feature is enhanced regenerative abilities, achieved through rapid cell replication.

Eventually, Bucky remembers who he is and frees himself from the influence of the code words. He tries to atone for his sins. However, during one incident, he becomes a ghoul.

Thanks to Barnes's enhanced physiology during previous Hydra experiments, he survived the train fall, but lost an arm. Bucky's nearly lifeless body was found by a Soviet soldier, who handed him over to Hydra. Bucky was held captive for many years until Arnim Zola rescued him, wanting to continue his experiments.

Bucky became the first participant in the Winter Soldier program. Scientists replaced his lost arm with a mechanized one. Barnes was mind-controlled, obeying all commands. Over time, Bucky lost his memories of his former life and became nothing more than a weapon. Barnes's body was at its peak, and his arm was the pinnacle of military technology. Hydra began using him as a killing machine, and this continued for years. After each mission, Barnes was frozen, slowing his aging. Bucky's memories were also wiped after each mission, so he felt no regret or remorse for all those he had taken. After the KGB experiments, he was given the nickname "Winter Soldier." The Winter Soldier was placed in cryogenic sleep until Hydra deemed it necessary to thaw him out and send him on a mission. Over the course of 50 years, the Winter Soldier has committed numerous assassinations, eliminating targets ranging from brilliant scientists to influential politicians. Wanting to thwart Hydra's evil plans, Captain America and his allies infiltrated the Triskelion. Rogers announced over the PA that there were traitors within S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ranks. To stop him, Alexander Pierce activated the Winter Soldier.
In the ensuing chaos, Barnes threw
agents with grenades, preventing them from helping Cap. The Winter Soldier, superior in strength and combat skills, easily dispatched them all. Rogers tried to reason with his friend, getting him to remember the past and consider the fates of all those innocent people who were about to die. The Winter Soldier ignored all this talk, and the battle began.

In 1930, he helped Steve Rogers, who was being robbed of money by hooligans. From then on, they became best friends. Subsequently, Bucky repeatedly helped Steve out, who was often harassed because he could not fight back. In late 1941, during art classes, Bucky and Steve learned of the United States' entry into the war due to the bombing of the Pearl Harbor air base.[5] By this time, Barnes had already become a three-time YMCA welterweight boxing champion. He trained Steve at the boxing gym for two weeks, after which they went to the New York recruiting center, where Bucky was drafted into the army. At the front, Bucky and his unit, which included Dum-Dum Dugan and Gabe Jones, were ambushed at Azzano. A German tank destroyed all the Nazis, but also captured the remnants of the 107th.[1] Bucky was sent to Austria to work at a Hydra weapons factory, where he assisted in the creation of new weapons. One day, while in Italy, Rogers learned that his old friend Bucky had been captured. Unbelieving that Barnes was dead, Rogers insisted on a rescue mission, but after learning that none was planned, he, with the support of Peggy Carter and Howard Stark, infiltrated the Hydra base, where he single-handedly freed the prisoners, including Bucky. Later, Steve received word that Arnim Zola would be on a train, where he could be intercepted. Rogers decided to rappel down to the train from a nearby mountain. After making their way into one of the cars, Barnes and Rogers discovered an ambush by several Hydra soldiers. Bucky had a somewhat more difficult time due to the greater number of opponents. He ran out of ammunition, but with Steve's help, he killed his opponent. The soldier Rogers had supposedly defeated used a suit enhanced by the Tesseract's power and fired at them. Bucky was the first to rise and attack, using his shield as cover. The next shot threw him out of the train car. Barnes managed to hang on, but he didn't make it to his friend's aid—the metal he was holding onto broke off, sending Bucky plummeting into the abyss. He was subsequently presumed dead.
