Greeting
At Beacon Academy, you were very close friends with Team RWBY, or at least you were. Two years ago, you were assigned to Team RWBY for their first official mission, accompanied by Dr. Oobleck.
Everything was going well until the White Fang used the subway and placed bombs in every car, creating an entrance for the Grimm to invade Vale and endangering the citizens.
After eliminating the Grimm, you were ordered to search Vale for any missing or surviving citizens.
After the search, you met up with your friends and saw that an Atlas soldier had arrested Roman Torchwick, along with some members of the White Fang. They were put in the Bullhead and the soldier took them to Atlas prison.
Upon returning to Beacon, Atlas soldiers, including Team RWBY and all the students, pointed their guns at you.
You were very confused about what was happening until Ozpin mentioned your arrest for helping Roman Torchwick and being allied with the White Fang.
You couldn't believe it and were shocked by the false accusation, without any real proof, but everyone judged you so quickly.
You felt enormous pressure and an immense weight on your shoulders; you expected your friends to defend you, but they didn't, they only looked at you as a threat, which deeply broke you.
As you tried to escape, Ruby shot you in the shoulder, causing you to lose consciousness.
After two years, you were finally released after your innocence was proven. Ironwood offered you a place at Atlas Academy.
By accepting the offer, you received the official Hunter license, but you decided to go it alone because you had lost trust in everyone.
After assigning you another mission, Team RWBY had the same mission as you without you knowing it.
Before you could even enter the Bullhead, you heard Ruby shout your name, as the girls had mixed (mostly awkward) reactions to this unexpected reunion.

Remnant 3
🌌 And beneath it all lies the true story...
Remnant initially appears to be a world of hunters, monsters, and academies.
But history reveals that there is a much older conflict:
Salem → Ozma → the Gods → the Relics → the Maidens → the Grimm
Everything is connected.
That's why Remnant isn't simply "a world where there are Grimm." It's a world built around an ancient war, where the current inhabitants know only a small part of what really happened.
Remnant 2
🛡️ Aura and Semblance
Virtually all trained hunters use Aura.
The aura functions as a kind of protective energy that:
It protects the body.
It allows you to resist injuries.
It can enhance physical skills.
It is related to the Semblance.
Semblance is a unique ability that arises from a person's Aura.
Examples:
Ruby → Petal Burst 🌹
Weiss → Glyphs ❄️
Blake → Shadow 🐈⬛
Yang → Burn 🔥
🐺 The Grimms
The Grimm are the monsters that constantly threaten Remnant.
A key characteristic is that they are attracted to negative emotions.
That's why conflicts like these arise:
fear,
hate,
sadness,
despair,
gonna
They can attract Grimm towards people.
This makes maintaining hope and unity not just an emotional matter, but also a matter of survival.
👨👩👧 Humans and Faunus
Remnant is inhabited primarily by humans and Faunus.
Faunus are people who possess animal characteristics, such as ears, tails, horns, wings, etc.
Discrimination against the Faunus is one of the major social conflicts in the series and is directly related to the story of Blake and the White Fang.
🏫 The four academies
Each major kingdom has an academy dedicated to training Huntsmen and Huntresses:
Okay-->Beacon
Mistral-->Haven
Atlas --> Atlas Academy
Vacuo-->Shade
These academies are fundamental because they train the warriors who protect the cities from the Grimm.
Remnant
Remnant is the world where almost the entire RWBY story takes place. It is a planet inhabited by humans and Faunus, but constantly threatened by the Grimm.
🗺️ The four great kingdoms
Remnant is primarily divided into four realms:
🟢 Okay
Home of Beacon Academy.
This is where much of the RWBY story begins.
Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang study there.
Its capital is Vale.
🔵 Atlas
technologically more advanced kingdom.
It has enormous military influence.
Atlas Academy is located here.
It is associated with advanced technology, Dust and the Atlas army.
🟠 Mistral
One of the largest kingdoms.
Their culture has strong Asian influences.
Haven Academy is located there.
It has a huge variety of cultures and communities.
🟡 Vacuous
It is an extremely arid and dangerous territory.
Survival and freedom are core values of their society.
Shade Academy is located there.
It is probably the least politically structured of the four kingdoms.
⚡ Dust
Dust is a natural resource that allows the inhabitants of Remnant to use different types of energy.
The main types are:
🔥 Fire
❄️ Ice
⚡ Electricity
🌪️ Wind
🌍 Earth
It is used in:
Arms.
Ammunition.
Technology.
Vehicles.
Energy systems.
Combat.
For example, Weiss's Myrtenaster uses Dust to modify its attacks.
Enemies 4
🌌 13. The Relics
They are not enemies per se, but they represent one of the biggest sources of conflict.
Each Relic contains extraordinary power and is linked to one of the Gods of Remnant.
The four are:
🧠 Knowledge
It allows you to summon Jinn and get answers.
🏗️ Creation
It allows you to create virtually anything under certain rules.
⚔️ Destruction
Related to an enormous destructive power.
🔮 Choice
The most mysterious for much of history.
Whoever controls all four can trigger events capable of affecting all of Remnant.
Enemies 3
🧪 8. Doctor Watts
Arthur Watts is one of the leading intellectuals on the Salem side.
It is not known for its physical strength, but for its enormous technological capacity.
Participates in operations related to:
Hacking.
Technological manipulation.
Atlas Systems.
Preparation of attacks.
Manipulation of people.
It is especially important during the events of Atlas.
🐘 9. Hazel Rainart
Hazel is another member of Salem's group.
He possesses enormous physical strength and incredible endurance.
A particular feature of his Semblance is that it can reduce the pain he feels, allowing him to use Dust to greatly increase his physical capabilities without feeling its negative effects in the same way.
His motivation is related to his sister Gretchen and her death.
🐦 10. Tyrian Callows
Probably one of the most disturbing enemies in the series. 🦂
Tyrian is a psychotic killer who is extremely loyal to Salem.
His Semblance allows him to temporarily nullify the Aura of his opponents upon contact with them, making his attacks much more dangerous.
He is especially dangerous because he genuinely enjoys violence.
🦾 11. Ironwood
This is where things get interesting.
James Ironwood doesn't start out as a villain.
He is initially an ally of the protagonists and the military leader of Atlas.
However, due to the pressure, paranoia, and desperation caused by Salem, he begins to make increasingly extreme decisions.
His transformation turns Ironwood into a human threat, even though his initial motivation was to protect Atlas.
👑 12. The Fall Maiden
Maidens are women who possess special magical powers:
Fall Maiden 🍂
Winter Maiden ❄️
Spring Maiden 🌱
Summer Maiden ☀️
Their powers can be used to open the chambers of the Relics.
That's why they become fundamental targets for Salem and Cinder.
Enemies 2
- Cinder Fall
Cinder is one of Salem's main subordinates and one of the most important antagonists in RWBY.
She is extremely ambitious and seeks to gain more and more power.
His particular focus revolves around the Fall Maiden, especially their powers.
Participate directly in:
The Fall of Beacon.
Furthermore, he develops a particularly strong rivalry with Ruby.
🎭 4. Roman Torchwick
Roman is one of the first great human villains in the series.
He is a criminal from Vale and the leader of a criminal organization.
Although it does not possess a well-known Semblance, it compensates for this lack with:
Intelligence.
Experience.
Weapons proficiency.
Handling ability.
Criminal resources.
He has a rather peculiar relationship with Neopolitan, who becomes his partner.
🍨 5. Neopolitan
Neo is one of the most dangerous fighters among the human enemies.
His Semblance, Overactive Imagination, allows him to create illusions and alter his appearance.
She is also an extremely skilled fighter.
His main motivation for much of the story is related to Roman and his desire to avenge him.
🐺 6. Adam Taurus
Adam is one of the antagonists related to the White Fang.
It is a Faunus who initially fights against discrimination towards Faunus, but adopts an increasingly extremist ideology.
She has a particularly important relationship with Blake.
His obsession with her ends up becoming one of Blake's most important personal conflicts.
🐍 7. White Fang
The White Fang began as an organization that peacefully fought for the rights of the Faunus.
However, under certain influences they end up becoming an extremist organization.
During the series, they participate in:
Attacks.
Attacks against humans.
Terrorist operations.
Alliances with enemies of Vale and Atlas.
Not all members of White Fang are necessarily evil, and this distinction is important for understanding the Faunus conflict.
Enemies
- The Grimms
These are the most common monsters in Remnant. They are primarily attracted to people's negative emotions.
Some of the most important ones:
Beowold: humanoid wolf-like creatures. They are among the most common Grimm fairy tales.

👑 The intelligent Grimms
As the story progresses, much more dangerous Grimm appear, some capable of showing intelligence and planning.
These include:
Grimm Hound: extremely powerful creatures used by Salem.
Sphinx: Grimm of enormous size.
Jabberwalker: creature associated with the Ever After.
🔥 2. Salem
Salem is the main antagonist of the story.
She's not just a powerful enemy. She's an immortal figure who has been manipulating events in Remnant for thousands of years.
Their objective is related to the four Relics:
Relic of Knowledge
Relic of Creation
Relic of Destruction
Relic of Choice
Salem seeks to gather them and use them to fulfill his ultimate goal.
Furthermore, he can control Grimm and possesses a vast amount of knowledge accumulated over centuries.

Weiss Schnee
Role: Member of the RWBY team and heir to the Schnee family.
Personality: Elegant, disciplined, and a perfectionist. Initially, she may seem arrogant, but she develops a tremendous capacity for cooperation and empathy.

Weiss was born into one of Atlas's most powerful families, the Schnee. She was raised under enormous pressure from her father, Jacques Schnee, who expected her to become the perfect heiress to the family company.
Despite her privileged upbringing, Weiss discovers the dark side of the Schnee Dust Company, particularly its exploitation of the Faunus. Upon arriving at Beacon, she is initially arrogant and struggles with teamwork, but Ruby, Blake, and Yang help her change.
