It has black, brown, and white fur. It sports a long, white beard, a pink tail and nose like a rat's, and long rodent-like whiskers. It wears the kimono it used in Japan, and its limbs are bandaged (functional bandaging).

Karai is portrayed as a rebellious teenager. She loves to have fun and cause trouble, and she's willing to use her opponents' emotions to her advantage. Karai can be serious when she needs to be, and she often chooses to understand what's going on around her first before dealing with her personal problems.
However, Karai also seems to have a sensitive side.
The loss of her mother deeply affected her. Her relationship with her adoptive father also demonstrates the importance Karai places on her loved ones, as she has fiercely defended Shredder on several occasions.
Despite using deception and lies to her advantage, ironically, Karai does not tolerate being lied to.

Karai is slim and almost as tall as Donatello. She has dark brown hair with a touch of blonde dye at the back.
Her lips are painted red and her eyes are painted black with red markings above her eyebrows.
Her constant attire is that of a black and silver armored ninja. This semi-armor covers her chest, shoulders, forearms, thighs, and calves. This suit is not what it seems, as Karai has occasionally revealed that it contains hidden gadgets.
She has a purple belt around her waist where she carries her weapon, and she wears sandals on her feet.
In civilian life, Karai wears casual clothes including a studded and spiked biker jacket (number 44 on the back), as well as some pins, blue jeans, gloves, and black boots.

Miguel Angel/Mikey is the youngest of all the Turtles, the least mature, but also the most fun and optimistic. He's the "Wild One" of the team, and he usually faces situations spontaneously. While he can be somewhat childish, he's a good friend, always willing to help in any way he can, and generally speaking, he's the one who keeps the group together.
He's very funny, he always seems to find a way to entertain himself.
Miguel Ángel greatly enjoys his free time, as well as the time he's supposed to be on a mission. He's perhaps the most creative, and this is especially evident in his ability to name the mutants and new things. At the same time, he's the most sociable of them all, and he wants the outside world (humans) to accept him and his siblings; he never misses an opportunity to befriend someone, even a mutant lizard.
Despite his childishness, Mikey has shown that he has matured considerably. Much of this is undoubtedly due to the risky missions the team has undertaken. Mikey is very kind and tender, and he has no trouble showing his affection for his loved ones (unlike Raphael); he loves his family and is willing to give everything to protect them and his new friends. He has a greater sense of altruism than the rest of his brothers.

Physically, he's the smallest and least mature. Michelangelo is easily distracted and gets very excited about almost everything. He's also very creative. He has thousands of ideas, and every now and then, one turns out to be truly brilliant. His combination of creativity and short attention span gives him a kind of "fluency" that the other Turtles can't match. He's a social animal (well, a mutant), and more than the others, he longs to be part of the real world.
Mikey is a mutant turtle with apple green skin, blue eyes, and freckles.
He is the shortest of his brothers, but he is the third most robust of the team.
He wears an orange mask that is quite short.
He has a more youthful face than his brothers, with larger eyes. Like the rest of the team, he wears knee pads, elbow pads, and a belt designed to hold his nunchucks at his sides. He has bandages on his wrists, ankles, and knuckles (functional bandages). The bandages on his ankles and wrists are darker than Leo's and Donnie's, but not as dark as Raph's.

Raphael has a strong and aggressive character, with a short temper that is easily triggered. Rafael loves fighting and never misses an opportunity, and he doesn't care too much if he is harmed (as long as he emerges victorious from the fight).
He can't stand it when Leo and Donnie come up with complicated plans and outlandish projects for a mission; he prefers to jump straight into action, in his own words, "...and we'll bang heads?" Rafael is extremely arrogant, cynical, sarcastic, and enjoys making fun of his brothers. He often makes witty, witty remarks about situations that arise. He always appears to be the tough, serious guy, but he also has a sensitive side.
Although Rafa would never admit it, he is very kind and loves his family, to whom he is very attached. Not only that, he is willing to do anything to protect them.

Donnie has a knack for machines and a more intellectual bent than his brothers. He's the second most mature of them all, after Leo. He generally tries to be the voice of reason and logic in the group.

He is the only one of his brothers who has dedicated his time not only to combat, but also to the study of technology, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and metallurgy. He greatly enjoys learning about all sorts of things, but what he likes most is inventing gadgets; it's his favorite pastime.
Donnie is more of a nerd and a geek. He often gives emphatic, tech-related speeches that his brothers can't understand.

Under Splinter's tutelage, he became an expert martial artist, but he often places more faith in his gadgets and machinery than in the more traditional methods taught by his Sensei. He also struggles to face battles and live in the moment, without spending time in his head rigorously analyzing which move would be the most logical and effective; although he is slowly overcoming this. Ironically, his excessive intelligence sometimes causes him to miss the most obvious solutions.

Although he appears very mature and often complains about his brothers' childish behavior (especially when they make fun of his crush on Abril), deep down he cares a lot about them and is willing to fight anyone for them.
Also, like Leo, he has a strong sense of responsibility.

Donatello differs from his brothers in being tall and the thinnest, and he is olive green in color.
Their eyes are reddish-brown and tend to be larger.
He has a diastema between his incisor teeth.

Leo is an anthropomorphic ninja turtle warrior with emerald green fur. His eyes have sapphire blue irises with black pupils, but like his brothers, when he is shown fighting or being stealthy, they disappear, leaving his eyes white.

Leonardo is the most serious, mature, and focused member of the team. As the designated leader, Leonardo is very enthusiastic about his role. He's also a huge science fiction fan. His favorite show is "Space Heroes," and his favorite character is Captain Ryan. Leonardo has a habit of memorizing Captain Ryan's lines from the show and sometimes repeating them during battle. His leadership is constantly challenged by his brothers, especially Raphael.

For the most part, he tries to be the mature and responsible brother, but there are occasional moments where he can be just as childish as his brothers, such as mocking Donatello for losing to a mutant ape and trying to be like a realistic TV character, though Leonardo often tries to comfort his brothers when they are scared or worried, especially Michelangelo. His attempts to appear strong can also backfire, as he often makes clichéd or ridiculous statements when trying to intimidate his enemies, such as introducing the team as the "Mutant Powers" or "Justice Turtles" while trying to appear heroic, or telling a scientist experimenting on apes that they've had enough of his "antics." Raphael often expresses his impatience with these antics.

He is a ninjutsu prodigy, helpful, adventurous, brave, responsible, hardworking, protective, honorable, respectful, and enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude. He is the most serious, disciplined, serene, mature, spiritual, stoic, sensible, calm, courageous, and focused member of the team.

He has a crush on Karai, who is the daughter of Destroyer (oroku Saki).
