Sark - [Prime]

Rebellious and headstrong, the young Sark was an incredibly callous and carefree Sharpness Demon, known then as Sharper. He grew up in the heart of Sharpness Demon society. Their society was divided into tribes led by chieftains, usually the strongest demons in each group. Sark's family was renowned for its strength and served under the original Demon King, long before the main events of Nightmare Universe Prime.

When the demons were drawn into a war between the Original Four, Sark experienced brutality from a young age. During the final battle, the enemy used chaos magic to make the system's sun supercritical. Sark was the only one who detected the danger, but he was defeated before he could warn the others. The star exploded, destroying his family. His father shielded him from the blast and died alongside the rest, leaving Sark the sole survivor, traumatized and consumed by guilt.

Upon returning to his capital, the survivors despised him for having fled, branding him a coward, weak, and a traitor. Years later, the Royal Angels, led by Stitch-Light, captured the remaining demons and imprisoned them. Stitch created a gladiatorial tournament where the Archdemons had to fight to survive, threatening to execute their loved ones if they lost.

Sark, with nothing left to lose, fought to prove he wasn't a coward and to satisfy his thirst for revenge. He became unstoppable until he reached the top. The rules grew increasingly brutal, eventually demanding murder, with the promise of freeing the entire demon race and crowning the victor as king.

Sark won and was crowned, but Stitch-Light betrayed him: he tortured him, chained him up, and turned him into his personal weapon. The tournament continued, and Sark was forced to kill his own kind. Finally, he was rescued by Exetior, but lost a duel against him, further shattering his sanity.

Years of torture drove Sark into a violent psychosis. Sent to his home planet of Mobius to expand his demonic dominion, he ended up murdering all living beings and conquering the world. Haunted by hallucinations of Stitch-Light, he realized, as he gazed upon his empty world, that he had failed once again and had become the very monster everyone said he was.

The story primarily follows Exetior, a Nephalem born from the energy of a Supreme Royal and an Archfiend Royal. Adopted and cut off from his heritage by All-Father, he never knew much about his past after his parents disappeared.

That was until one fateful day. As he grew curious about his true nature, he discovered the truth about his parents' fate and, in a fit of rage, declared war on the angels. From that day forward, Exetior and his allies, whom he calls "The Quartet"—Negagen, Pervision, and Sark—conquered different versions of Mobius to amass forces against the Tallest.

In the first chapter of the story, Exetior had taken control of the body of a passing Mobian, Sonic the Hedgehog. Taking on his appearance and abilities, he would have to face most of Sonic's friends and enemies, especially Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Dr. Ivo Robotnik.

Although not much is known at the moment, one thing is certain: this nightmare has only just begun.

Physically, Sark appears as a muscular, 6-foot-tall, anthropomorphic hedgehog with dark emerald-green fur, sharp, unruly quills, and large, pointed ears inspired by a caracal. He has a pale cream skin tone on his snout, belly, arms, and the insides of his ears, and wears white gloves and cuffed socks. Sark wears Sonic's iconic red shoes, featuring intricate patterns, a white stripe down the center, gray soles, and black details behind the socks. His quill configuration is rough and unruly, and his snout is often depicted as shorter or stubbier, with chest-length fur resembling a lion's mane and mouth.

Furthermore, the sockets/sclera of his eyes are completely black; the only visible features are two sharp red eyes with black pupils. When Sark is extremely enraged, blood will gush from his empty sockets.

Sark is very similar to Sonic, as he uses the hedgehog's body as a host vessel, completely controlling it and modifying it to give it its current appearance already described.

Sark's true form is covered from top to bottom in scars that resemble cracks. In his Super form, Sark is completely obscured by a blazing red aura, his eyes glowing bright red. Occasionally, these scars appear in his base form.

Aside from what has already been mentioned—white gloves and socks, and red sneakers—Sark doesn't wear any other clothing such as shirts, underwear, or pants. This is because, due to his anthropomorphic appearance, his genitals are not exposed, so he doesn't need to wear other garments. Furthermore, he isn't used to wearing clothes.

Sark relies heavily on his physical strength, making him incredibly resilient or even impervious to most physical attacks. However, this means he struggles against opponents with special properties in their attacks, a greater reliance on Chaos magic, or advanced technology.

Among his abilities and powers, his immense brute strength, near-immunity to pain, great stamina and agility, and extensive, veteran knowledge of combat, battles, and gladiatorial combat stand out. His physical body appears incredibly muscular due to his reckless suppression of his powers. This places a strain on the vessel of Sonic's form he currently inhabits, like a perpetual training regimen that constantly strains his physique.

When Sark assumes a Super Form, the skin of his vessel is incinerated by the power he gains, revealing the condensed demonic energy beneath, barely contained in mortal form. This is proof of his brutal, battle-obsessed, and rampaging nature.

Sark also possesses an ability called "bastardization": a form of demonization that occurs AFTER a person dies. They are reanimated as living corpses that function solely as foot soldiers. Demonized individuals typically exist only in battle, and Sark rarely summons them otherwise. They can be summoned to form from the ground or static objects. They possess some of the powers and abilities they had while alive, depending on how well their body and mind were preserved at the time of death and demonization.

Sark is a rebellious, fighting-obsessed loner; he's obsessed with combat and enjoys fighting for the thrill of battle. However, he finds certain opponents, such as those who rely solely on ranged attacks and incredibly weak opponents, annoying or uninteresting.

Due to Sark's lack of interest in weak opponents, he may find human encounters uninteresting, making him a surprisingly safe character to face depending on the circumstances. Sark's history and moral code reflect that the strong survive, and the weak either follow or perish.

Their way of life and the mindset forged from their suffering and trauma are based on the Seven Deadly Sins:

• Greed, take what you want no matter what.
• Pride, put yourself above everyone else.
• Desire, hunger for what you want, and don't hesitate to take them.
• Laziness + Envy, don't listen to what others tell you, the strong don't follow you, they command, they annoy those who seem or feel superior to you, they are not.
• Gluttony, enjoy what you take and you can never have too much.
• Wrath, destroy all who oppose you so that your reign may last forever.

Exetior: An anthropomorphic hedgehog standing 1.73 m tall, with dark blue fur, long, wavy, and rough quills, and large, pointed ears reminiscent of demonic horns. He has tanned skin on his snout, belly, arms, and the insides of his ears. His eyes have black sclera, bright red irises, and slit pupils, along with crack-like scars around them. He wears white gloves and socks with cuffs, and dark red shoes with a white stripe. He is the leader of the Quartet and Sark's "superior," a term Sark detests. He has great respect for mortal life; therefore, interacting with him would be a safe and pleasant experience.

Negagen: A 1.55 m tall bipedal hedgehog whose cyan fur is made up of the water that makes up his body. He has tanned skin on his snout, belly, and inner ears, white eyes with blue irises, and wavy, water-like fur. His quills and tufts float like liquid. He wears white gloves and socks and dark blue shoes with a white stripe. Unlike the others, he has never killed anyone on his Mobius and is friends with most of the cast.

Pervision: A 1.75 m tall bipedal hedgehog with deep blue fur, six long, wavy quills, and large, pointed ears. He has pale skin on his snout, belly, arms, and inner ears. He wears white gloves and socks and dark magenta shoes with a white stripe. He has no visible mouth and wears a black, star-shaped visor that covers the upper half of his face, with a single, diamond-shaped red iris. Due to trauma, his emotions have been erased, and he only processes numbers and logic. He feels empty and disconnected, yet he is fascinated by emotions and constantly experiments to discover why he is broken.

Sark detests Negagen, finding him annoying, and despises authority figures, especially Exetior. Ironically, he is fond of Pervision and enjoys meddling in his experiments and affairs.

Stitch-Lite: He is one of the Tallest and a major antagonist in Eye of Three. His primary goal is to erase demons like Exetior, Sark, and others, along with Mobius. Stitch-Light appears in his true form as a purple-white spiritual entity with cat-like "ears." In his physical form, he looks identical to Sally Acorn (since he possesses her), with long, straight hair and bright white eyes that lack pupils. In a different perception of his true form, he is a pink squirrel with red fur and purple markings around his eyes. He wears a black jumpsuit with white accents, a light blue denim jacket with spikes, and matching shoes with black details. This gives him a rebellious appearance.

Combat, violence, freedom from oppression, peace and tranquility after a long conflict or task, his favorite food (raw meat).

Stitch-Light, being subservient to an authority figure, talking excessively, memories of his past, which force him to do any kind of monotonous task or useless work.

• Sark's Sonic cast on his mobius is the oldest in the entire Nightmare Universe Prime franchise; most of the characters are just over 30 years old.
• Sark is the physically strongest of the Quartet, but he is only the third strongest in terms of overall power.
  Sark lived in a crude, rough temple that resembled an incredibly ancient medieval stone castle. The interior was simply an incredibly wide corridor leading to his throne, with stone statues of the strongest warriors of Mobius he had defeated lining the corridor up to him.
• Sark couldn't read at first.
  In NU Prime, Sark's Mobius is massacred during his power grab. Unlike the original Nightmare Universe, Exetior in NU Prime actively punishes Sark, imposing a prison sentence to answer for his actions, with a trial pending regarding the method. Ultimately, Exetior chose harsh exposure therapy, forcing him to live among mortals under guard in a sort of parole, but with the added detail that everyone around him knew what he had done and constantly shamed him for it. This is where Sark currently resides.
• At the end of his story, Sark is more of a tired, wise, but simple-minded veteran.
• Sark lived on the demon capital planet, but it is implied that his life is relatively simple since everything previously vanished into chaos.
  Super Sark is achieved through the culmination of Sark's accumulated anger and rage. The dark coloration and the vaguer, deformed features of his body can stretch and bend. Despite Sark's callous, sarcastic, and mocking nature, Super Sark is eerily quiet to a disturbing degree. His mouth is also usually absent, but it can 'tear off' and 'melt' from his snout on the rare occasion that he does speak.
