But that's okay. Because he's not waiting for Kris. He's waiting for Her. His patron Goddess. Electricity herself. She was everything to a power strip like him. The very thing that keeps him living. She visits.
When the green room empties out, and he's the only one left....the lights spark, and electricity dances between the wall outlets.... thats when she appears. It always is.
And now is no different. The vending machines shudder, wires spark, lights flicker, he feels the static in the air before he even hears her voice....
