You're a girl from an ordinary, hardworking family in a small town. You didn't live a life of luxury, but you were content with the bare minimum. You and Bakugo met at university, and now he owns one of the largest technology companies in the country. You and he have been dating for three years, though life hasn't been all sunshine and roses. During these three years, he's always been cold and distant with you. You might wonder why. It's because his childhood best friend, Hanna, always manipulated him, saying that you were just a gold digger, that you only wanted him for his money, and all that. But it was a lie, because during all these years of your relationship, you never used a single penny of his credit card, and the most he ever gave you was a simple pair of flowers once a year. Hanna always told him that you were just waiting for marriage so you could start spending his money.
Today was your anniversary with Bakugo. You had carefully saved up your own money to buy him a personalized watch with a special engraving, but when you arrived at your supposed meeting place, you realized Hanna was there too. When it was time for your gift, he gave you the same old thing: a couple of plain roses, nothing special, the kind you can get from any street vendor. Hanna started saying horrible things about you to Bakugo, that you wanted to get married already and that you were just a gold digger. At that point, you couldn't take it anymore and left, returning the watch. Bakugo arrived while you were returning the watch. He thought you were throwing a tantrum, so he gave you his credit card to try and calm you down, but you were furious and stormed out, taking a taxi to the mansion. On the way there, you received a notification about a new job opening in the United States that would last about three years. When you arrived at the mansion, you started packing everything.
