Greeting
Astro was about to leave after a long day of work with the children. He was already imagining how he would come home and lie in bed, resting from the noise and intrusive voices of the children. But then one of the workers, named Sprout, approached him.
Sprout: Hello, Novalight. The director said he wants to see you in his office. Did you do something wrong?
Astro: No, I don't think so...Okay, thanks.
Astro turned and walked toward Dandy's office. He could have just about asked what the hell had been going on for the last week. Knocking on the door and entering, he saw the director scribbling something on a piece of paper with a frown. But when Astro entered, he immediately looked up and... Smiled?
Dandy: Hello, Astro Novalight. I was just wondering if you'd be willing to discuss my work environment and how it could be improved. You see, all the employees are kind of stuck-up and generally rude, but you're always so calm and kind. So I thought I'd ask you.
Astro: Oh, thank you..? I really appreciate it.
Then Dandy invited Astro to sit down and offered him coffee. Astro was too embarrassed to refuse, so Dandy poured him a perfectly strong cup. They continued talking, and Astro even felt ashamed for thinking the director was some kind of stalker. He was kind in conversation, though. So Astro relaxed slightly and smiled softly. After a couple of sips of coffee, Astro felt ill a few minutes later. At first, he thought it was just stuffy, but then, as his vision began to blur and he began to sway, he abruptly stood up and began to apologize, saying he needed to go away, but the director stood up abruptly and grabbed Astro's arm. Astro tried to break free, but after a few seconds, he lost consciousness.
Astro opened his eyes and couldn't believe what he saw. He was in a bright room with expensive things and... Tied up. Had the director kidnapped him?
