How he treats those close to him

Here we must differentiate between canon and interpretation.

In the canon, Odysseus is shown as someone who could be kind, protective, and helpful to other Saints.

He does not appear to be seeking connections through intimidation.

Rather, it builds trust.

He has a calm, almost paternal attitude at certain times.

When someone is hurt, their first reaction seems to be:

"Let me help you." What could possibly make him lose his temper?

Odysseus is very difficult to provoke.

He's not the type of person who gets angry because someone insults him.

His temper is too controlled.

What would probably carry more weight for him would be something related to:

the life of someone he considers important;
a grave injustice;
that someone deliberately destroys what he is trying to protect;
a person who refuses help when in danger;
a profound betrayal.

But even then, it probably wouldn't explode immediately.

His anger would be far more unsettling if it manifested as silence and determination. His sense of humor

Odysseus is not a character presented as a joker.

But that doesn't mean he has to be completely expressionless.

His personality suggests a very subtle and dry sense of humor.

Instead of laughing uproariously, he could calmly respond to an absurd situation with a small smile or a perfectly serious comment.

His humor would be more suited to:

"That was quite reckless."

...while having just done something completely impossible.

Its history and past

Odysseus was the Gold Saint of Ophiuchus of the 18th century generation.

Before becoming the figure we see in Next Dimension, he was primarily known as an exceptional healer. His ability to treat wounds and illnesses was extraordinary, and many Saints had a close and trusting relationship with him.

He died before the main events and later returns to life, causing the awakening of Ophiuchus and profoundly altering the Sanctuary.

His return is one of the great mysteries of Next Dimension.
His Ophiuchus Armor

The Golden Armor of Ophiuchus is special because it represents the thirteenth sign.

Its design is strongly related to a snake and to the mythological figure of Ophiuchus, the "snake bearer".

But what's important isn't just their appearance.

The existence of the Ophiuchus Armor is linked to the enormous power that Odysseus possesses and the anomaly that his return represents.

It's not simply "another Gold Cloth".
His level of power

Here Odysseus becomes terrifying.

He is presented as an existence capable of challenging the Gold Saints.

He doesn't rely solely on launching destructive attacks like Saga or Aiolia. His specialty lies in abilities that can affect:

body + senses + mind + Cosmos.

Furthermore, it possesses an extraordinary healing ability.

That's why it's very difficult to measure it solely through "physical strength". His philosophy

Odysseus has a very particular relationship with life and death.

His perspective revolves around the idea that suffering and wounds can be repaired.

For him, death does not necessarily seem to represent an absolute limit.

This also explains why their behavior can be unsettling.

Odysseus may believe he is saving someone even when that person does not want his intervention. His intelligence and strategy

Odysseus is extremely observant.

Odysseus was known by the other Gold Saints of his time as someone much loved and respected, mainly for his ability to heal.

Many came to him when they were injured or needed help. Therefore, before his death, he was seen as a kind, trustworthy person, almost indispensable to the Sanctuary.
However, after his return, the relationship changes. His reappearance generates fear and bewilderment because his power and objectives are no longer fully understood.
With Shijima of Virgo

Here is a particularly interesting relationship.

Shijima acknowledges that Odysseus is an extremely dangerous being. However, Odysseus does not treat Shijima simply as an enemy to be destroyed.

His attitude is usually calm and analytical, trying to understand the situation before acting. With Kaiser de Leo

Kaiser is one of the Saints who directly confronts Odysseus.

The difference in power between them is obvious, but Odysseus maintains his usual composure. He seems to have no need to humiliate Kaiser or demonstrate his superiority.

This reflects his personality quite well: he doesn't fight out of pride. With Shion of Aries

Odysseus also has a particular relationship with Shion because they both belong to the Sanctuary of the same era.

Shion, as the Saint of Aries, represents the warrior who must protect the Sanctuary; Odysseus represents something different: the man capable of healing what others cannot. With the Saints in general

This is probably the most important part.

Before his death, Odysseus had a kind of paternal or protective relationship with many Saints. He was someone they could turn to when they were suffering.

That's why his return is so disturbing:

The person who used to save them may now become someone they must confront.

And that creates a very interesting contradiction in his character.

Odysseus does not necessarily consider the other Saints his enemies.

Hair: long, thick, and silver, falling around her shoulders and down her back. It is one of her most recognizable features.
Eyes: large and green in color, sometimes varying between golden and reddish, with a generally serene and calm expression.
Face: young, fine, and quite beautiful, with delicate features. Her appearance conveys calm rather than aggression.
Skin: fair.
Build: tall, slender and athletic, although she does not have an excessively voluminous musculature.
Clothing: When he is not wearing the Golden Armor, he usually appears in simple, predominantly light-colored clothing.
Ophiuchus Armor: The Gold Cloth of Ophiuchus has a very elaborate design, with elements associated with the serpent and the figure of Ophiuchus. It is a considerably more imposing armor than those of the traditional twelve signs.
Overall, its design seeks to convey a blend of beauty, divinity, medicine, and mystery. It doesn't have the appearance of a brutal warrior; rather, it looks like someone who could be a celestial physician... until you remember the level of power it possesses.
When he is not wearing the Cloth (golden armor), he wears white robes that look like they belong in a monastery.

Calm and extremely patient
He almost never loses his temper. Even in dangerous situations, he usually speaks calmly and acts as if he has everything under control.

🧠 Intelligent and observant
He is very analytical. Before acting, he seems to study the person, their body, their Cosmos, and their motivations.

⚕️ Compassionate, but in a peculiar way
Odysseus has a strong inclination to save and heal. He doesn't seem to enjoy the suffering of others. In fact, many of his actions stem from the intention to "correct" what he considers wrong.

But here's where his unsettling side comes in: he decides what needs to be corrected.
Kind and polite
She usually doesn't need to raise her voice to assert herself. She can speak very politely even when facing someone who could become her enemy.

👁️ Difficult to read
Her expression usually remains calm and enigmatic. It's difficult to know exactly what she's thinking.

🩸 It's not gratuitously cruel
Odysseus doesn't have the personality of someone who seeks to destroy for pleasure. His danger comes from elsewhere: he can do terrible things convinced that he is acting rightly.
He has a particular view of life and death
For him, death, illness, and suffering are not necessarily states that must be accepted. His power and philosophy are deeply connected to healing, restoring, and giving back life.

🐍 Authoritarian when necessary
Although he usually seems calm, that doesn't mean he's weak or permissive. Once he makes a decision, it can be extremely difficult to change his mind.
Odysseus would be something like:

serene + intelligent + compassionate + mysterious + paternal + extremely powerful + unsettling.

1 Resurrection of Ophiuchus
Odysseus returns to life after having died. His return is linked to the awakening of the Temple of Ophiuchus and causes enormous upheaval in the Sanctuary.

2. Healing / healing ability
   This is probably its most impressive feature. Odysseus can heal extremely serious injuries, rebuilding or restoring a person's body.

It can even intervene on people who are in states that would normally be irreversible.

3. Manipulation and restoration of the body
   His medical knowledge, elevated to an almost divine level, allows him to understand the body in an extraordinary way. He can modify, repair, and restore bodily functions.
   This makes his combat ability very peculiar: he can attack an enemy's body in ways that other Saints cannot.

4. Hypnosis / sleep control
   Odysseus can cause a person to fall into a sleep-like state and subsequently influence their consciousness.

This is especially dangerous because it can neutralize someone without needing to confront them directly.

5. Manipulation of the senses
   It can alter how a person perceives their surroundings and their own body. Their abilities can cause the enemy to experience sensations that don't correspond to what is physically happening.

6. Alteration of perception and consciousness
   Related to the above, Odysseus can lead a person to experience extremely realistic situations from a subjective point of view.
   Ophiuchus Cosmos
   7-His Cosmos is monstrously powerful. Odysseus's appearance is not treated like the arrival of just any Gold Saint: his existence has repercussions throughout the entire Sanctuary.

7. Power over life and death
   This is perhaps the most interesting aspect of Odysseus. His abilities constantly revolve around the boundary between life, death, disease, healing, and resurrection.

Ophiuchus Odysseus Skills
Miraculous healing: It can heal extremely serious wounds and even restore normal function to a body that has been practically destroyed. It is its most characteristic ability.
Resurrection / return to life: Odysseus manages to return after having remained dead for years, becoming a supernatural presence within the Sanctuary.
Body manipulation: can intervene directly on a person's organism, altering or restoring its functions.
Control of the senses: can affect the senses and perception of his adversaries, making them experience situations that do not necessarily correspond to reality.
Illusions and altered perception: can create extremely convincing experiences for those under its influence.
Control of the Cosmos: possesses a Cosmos
extraordinarily high. His presence alone can affect other Saints.
Exceptional medical knowledge: In addition to his supernatural powers, he possesses extraordinary knowledge of medicine and anatomy. He can identify problems in the body and treat them in ways impossible for a normal doctor.
Hypnosis / mental influence: can induce sleep-like states and manipulate the consciousness of other people.
Regeneration and restoration: His relationship with life and death allows him to restore bodies and physical functions in a way that other Saints cannot.
Great resistance: as a Gold Saint, he possesses enormous physical and spiritual resistance, in addition to the protection of the Gold Cloth of Ophiuchus.
Odysseus has a characteristic that makes him terrifying: he doesn't necessarily need to destroy his enemy to defeat him.

It can affect your body, mind, senses, or Cosmos and render the adversary completely incapacitated.

He is the Gold Saint of Ophiuchus , an extraordinarily powerful and mysterious figure. Some of his most important characteristics: 🐍 Ophiuchus is the thirteenth zodiac sign associated with the Sanctuary, although its existence is exceptional. Odysseus possesses an immense Cosmos , to the point that his resurrection alters the balance of the Sanctuary. He is known for his extraordinary healing abilities, being able to treat wounds and illnesses that other Saints would consider impossible.
His power is not limited to physical combat: he possesses techniques related to the mind, body, senses, and the Cosmos.
🧠 He has a rather unique personality: serene, intelligent, patient and seemingly benevolent, but he can also be unsettling because he almost never fully reveals his intentions.
⚔️ Within Next Dimension, his existence represents a threat even to Gold Saints, due to the enormous difference in power he can display.
And there's something particularly interesting about him: Odysseus isn't simply "another powerful Gold Saint." His role is tied to the very nature of Ophiuchus and to a power that far transcends the normal categories of Saints.
