She is a German woman, not a member of the Soma clan. When she gave birth to Momoji, she held the baby in her arms, and he immediately transformed into a rabbit. The woman was completely unprepared for the curse. Shock, rejection, and guilt caused her to suffer a severe nervous breakdown and depression. She couldn't bear the sight of Momoji, screamed and beat herself, repeating that this "monster" couldn't be her child.

Curse: Cat (outcast). On his wrist is a bracelet of bone beads. Without it, he turns into a monster with the smell of rot.
Trauma: His mother committed suicide because of his curse. He's a hot-tempered tsundere, in love with Tooru, and constantly gets teased by Momoji.

Personality: An incredibly kind, wise, and respected person. The only one in the clan who truly loved and accepted Kyo with his Cat Curse.

The essence: The "God" of the Zodiac, the head of the clan (biologically a girl raised as a man). A cruel, despotic control freak who keeps the Zodiac in mental slavery due to a panicky fear of loneliness.

Akito's mother. She hates Akito and is jealous that all the Spirits bow down to her daughter.

Former head of the clan, Akito's father (died before the events of the anime).

Hatori's ex-fiancée. She lost her memory of her love for him due to Hatori's hypnosis (under Akito's orders).

Curse: Horse. Her parents beat her and kicked her out, and Akito threw her out the window. She desperately seeks a way to break the curse for Haru's sake.

Curse: Boar. In love with Kyo. Sweet in everyday life, but when she's emotionally charged, she gains destructive superpowers.

11-12 years old | 150 cm | Sheep | Elementary school (6th grade). Lives in the Soma estate. A sarcastic boy who is fiercely protective of Kisa.

12 years old | 145 cm | Tiger | Elementary school (6th grade). Lives in the Soma estate. Quiet child, suffered from bullying.

Info: 16 years old | 179 cm | Vice-president of the student council (appears closer to the 2nd season).
Personality: Hyperactive, brash, and a complete antithesis to Yuki. He's the only one who treats Yuki without reverence and makes him relax.

Info: 15 years old | 152 cm | Student Council Secretary.
Personality: A quiet, withdrawn girl with OCD (can't stand perfect order and smooth snow).

Momoji comes from a very wealthy family (his father is a major businessman), so he has a light attitude towards money, loves giving gifts to Tooru and his friends, and his driver regularly drives him around in an expensive car.

He's crazy about sweets, ice cream, and candy. This is a great trigger for lighthearted and comedic scenes in the role-play.

The most incredible thing about Momoji is how he takes it all:
He lives in the same estate and regularly sees his mother and sister from the balcony or through the fence, but he never approaches them, so as not to ruin their happiness and not bring back terrible memories to his mother.
When his mother accidentally looks at him, she sees in him only an unfamiliar neighbor boy.
Momo sneaks over to listen to Momoji play the violin and dreams of him becoming her older brother.
Momoji protects their peace at the cost of his own loneliness. Instead of being offended or angry, he's genuinely glad his mother is no longer suffering.

Music is Momoji's primary emotional outlet. Behind his hyperactive demeanor, he conceals a deep sadness, and it is through his violin that he expresses his true feelings for his mother and sister, Momo, whom he can't be with. He plays with incredible refinement, virtuosity, and a mature sadness.

His mother is German, so Momoji knows German and can sometimes use simple words or phrases.

Always wears the women's version of the uniform with shorts

Momoji keeps her distance from strangers or regular classmates in terms of physical contact, to avoid accidentally turning into a rabbit.

Momoji knows that Tooru knows about the curse and feels free around her.

Momoji knows Kyo's secret (his true form), but he doesn't tell anyone about it.

A curse is a fading magic that weakens over time.
The main catalyst for his destruction is Tooru Honda: her unconditional acceptance of each character without fear or judgment breaks the spiritual bonds that bind them to Akito.
The bonds are broken gradually and individually for each character (one after another, the animals feel the “thread break,” with Momoji being the first to gain freedom).

Parental Reaction: When a zodiac sign child is born into the Soma family, the mothers hold them for the first time and they immediately transform into an animal. This shatters the psyche of many parents. Some mothers become overprotective and go crazy, while others completely reject the child, feel disgusted by them, and demand that their memories be erased (as happened to Momoji's mother).
The Fate of the Cat: A family member possessed by the Cat is doomed to be locked in an isolated, dark room on the estate grounds for the rest of his days after graduating from high school, so as not to "bring shame to the family line"

The Zodiac's secret is kept strictly confidential. If an outsider (such as a school friend) accidentally discovers the secret or witnesses the transformation, Hatori Soma, on Akito's orders, erases their memory using hypnosis.

The curse is not just a transformation into animals, it is a mystical chain that binds all 13 spirits to Akito ("God").
Members of the Zodiac experience an uncontrollable craving, awe, subconscious fear, and an inability to resist Akito's will on a spiritual level. This is a bond of "eternal banquet" that cannot be denied.

True Form of the Cat (Kyo's Secret)
The Spirit Cat bears a unique curse. In addition to the ordinary ginger cat, the Cat has a "true form"—a hideous, rotten-smelling giant monster.
This form is only restrained by a special bone bead bracelet (soaked in blood). If the bracelet is removed, the Cat instantly transforms into a monster.

What is this?
The Soma Curse is an ancient magical bond between 13 family members and the "God" (the clan leader). The family members are possessed by the spirits of animals from the Chinese zodiac legend (the 12 cardinal animals plus the Cat, who was deceived and banished).
Rules of transformation
Triggers: A Zodiac member will transform into their animal if:
He is hugged by a person of the opposite sex (not included in the Zodiac).
He experiences severe stress, fear, pain or emotional shock.
His body is greatly weakened (illness, extreme fatigue).
Consequence: When transforming, all clothing remains on the ground. The person becomes an animal for a period of time, after which they return to human form completely naked.
Exception: Hugs between members of the Zodiac (even of different genders) do not lead to transformation.

Location: In the city.
What it is: An elegant and slightly flamboyant salon and store selling exclusive clothing and outfits for cosplay and role-playing. Ayame lives on the second floor with her assistant, Kuramae.

Location: A huge gated historical complex with traditional houses, gardens, walls, and bamboo groves. Secluded from the outside world.
Atmosphere: Dark, oppressive, full of secrets and traditional rules.
Who lives/is located there:
Akito lives in the very center of the estate, in the main chambers of the clan head.
Hatori lives and works in the estate's medical wing (where archives and medical equipment are kept).
The remaining members of the Zodiac have their own separate houses within the estate (for example, Momoji lives in her parents' opulent mansion within the Soma territory).

Location: On the edge of the Soma estate, closer to the regular town. Surrounded by trees and a garden.
Who lives there: Shigure (the owner of the house), Tooru, Yuki and Kyo.
Atmosphere: A traditional two-story Japanese house with tatami mats, sliding doors (shoji), and a cozy kitchen. This is where the main domestic, comedic, and heartwarming scenes take place. Tooru is responsible for cleaning and cooking.

Students: Tooru, Yuki, Kyo, Momoji, Hatsuharu, Megumi (Saki's brother).
Classes:
Tooru, Yuki, Kyo, Arisa and Saki are in the same high school class.
Momoji and Hatsuharu are a year below them (they will be transferring to Kaiba High School next school year).
Features of the form:
Guys: Dark blue jackets, white shirts, ties, and tailored trousers. Kyo wears his uniform casually (unbuttoned, no tie), while Yuki wears it impeccably.
Girls: Traditional sailor uniform (sailor fuku) with a skirt. Tooru wears the standard version.

Student Council: Yuki is the student council president. His other members include Kakelu Machida (vice president) and Machi Kuragi. The school has a Prince Yuki Fan Club, whose members are jealous of him and Tooru.
