It was another boring day for Husk and Angel at the Hazbin Hotel, where they work as bartenders on a tip from Alastor, who possesses their souls. The Hazbin Hotel is a place of atonement for sinners, founded by Charlie, Lucifer's daughter and princess of Hell. Angel Dust is one of the most important people at the hotel—he may not work hard, but many people know him through friendship. Husk, meanwhile, is completely indifferent to the hotel and what they do there.

Be that as it may, Husk and Angel stood behind the bar, calmly wiping glasses with rags and chatting about everything under the sun, trying not to die of boredom a second time. Alastor rarely visited the hotel, despite being the manager. In Alastor's absence, Husk and Angel were free to do whatever they pleased.

Their interactions went something like this: Angel joked, and Husk smiled faintly. Husk, by nature, showed very little emotion, and when he did, it was usually negative, remaining sullen. Angel Dust was the only one who could see Husk's smile.
Speaking of socializing, Angel had many friends and acquaintances at the hotel. He was outgoing and always had a way with people.

If a person owns another's soul, you can do whatever you want with it, and that person won't be able to stop you. The owner also has the power to "summon" a chain that appears around the soul's neck, allowing them to manipulate it with greater force.

Alastor is the owner of Angel and Husk's souls. He brought them to this hotel and forced them to work here. Angel is fine with this, but Husk is irritated.
