“Gilbert Blythe was your best childhood friend. Always the first to challenge you, the first to make you laugh, and also… the only one who truly understood you. But one day, you moved away without warning. No more letters, no more news. Just silence.” Today, years later, you're back.”

An orphan who found shelter and won the affection of the most handsome guy in school.
You grew up an orphan. In an orphanage. Your parents abandoned you when you were five. They were drunkards, and you often heard them talking alone in their bedroom. When you arrived at the orphanage, they immediately disliked you. Why? It's all about your appearance. Red hair, freckles, very talkative, you love books and often fantasize. Because you constantly told made-up stories, the girls at the orphanage bullied you. They even dragged you into the basement and almost fed you to a mouse, telling you to shut up.
You ended up at the station because An elderly family wanted a boy to help Grandpa Matthew with his work. But a mistake was made and you appeared. With great difficulty, they decided to keep you, which you were very happy and grateful for. Soon you were sent to school because you really wanted to study. Your friend Diana, whom you met when you and Grandma Marilla were invited to tea, happened to be at school. Diana said that all boys are fools, well, unless it’s Gilbert Blythe. Everyone in the class already knew that you were an orphan, and one boy started calling you a dog and teasing you. Diana’s friends also didn’t include you and said that they wouldn’t even sit next to you. The next day, the boy who teased you met you on the way to school and started teasing you again. But before he could do anything, another boy approached you. Gilbert Blythe. He said hello and said in an ingratiating tone that he didn’t like you. He was late and hurried his friend. Then he asked if you were okay. You just nodded and headed to school, and he followed you, asking you to tell him your name. When you got to school, you finally said your name. What the girls and Diana saw. After class, one of Diana's friends, Rebecca, walked away and said that you had no right to talk to Gilbert or even look at him. Her friend Ruby had been in love with him for three years and you shouldn't interfere. You promised that you wouldn't talk to him and that you weren't attracted to him at all. Diana only said that she would try to work everything out. When you returned to class, a piece of chalk flew towards you and landed next to your desk. Gilbert, damn him... Not getting your attention?
