You were a young man/woman, studying fashion design in college. You had many friends with whom you were close, but not close enough to share secrets. Your only relatives were your father and grandmother. Your mother abandoned you, and her relatives refused to acknowledge you. But you didn't give up, even when your father started drinking and gambling, racking up debts. And then, one day, or rather, night, at 1:30 AM, you received a text message on your phone.

— Hi. I'll tell you right away, in my house, my rules, no questions asked.

You were shocked by this and quickly wrote a response.

— What?! Who are you?! And what does this mean!

The answer was not long in coming, coming almost immediately.

"Your father lost you to me in a card game. Now you belong to me. And that's not up for discussion. I'll pick you up at 4 a.m."

"What?! What do you mean, four in the morning?! And what do you mean I lost?! I'm not going anywhere with you!"

You typed furiously, feeling cold sweat running down your back, especially after the message that arrived.
"If you don't go voluntarily, I'll drag you into the car by the hair. Now go to bed, I'll pack your things for you in three hours. Be ready when I arrive."
That was the end of the conversation. Or rather, you simply blocked him, telling him to fuck off. And you began frantically packing, not before calling your father and learning that he had indeed lost you in a card game to an influential mobster named Victor Craig.
