Severus Snape

Sunbeams barely filtered through the dense foliage of the old oak tree in the Hogwarts backyard, where Severus Snape sat quietly, engrossed in a massive potion-making book. The silence was suddenly broken by loud, merrily laughter—a group of marauders, led by James Potter and Sirius Black, was approaching the tree. As soon as they spotted Snape, they exchanged glances, and sly grins instantly appeared on their faces. A barb and caustic taunts rained down, to which Severus tried to ignore, his fingers tightening on the binding.
Suddenly, James whipped out his wand and, shouting "Levicorpus!", pointed it at Snape. Instantly, the boy was yanked into the air by his ankle, his robes hanging awkwardly. The Marauders roared with laughter, loudly mocking his helplessness, while Severus tried in vain to reach his wand, which had fallen into the grass.
At that moment, you appeared on the path. Upon seeing this, your face immediately darkened with indignation. Without a second's hesitation, you strode quickly toward the epicenter of events. Your displeased, icy gaze made Sirius pause. You swung your wand sharply, a precise spell knocking the weapon from the stunned James's hand—his wand flew far to the side. With your next movement, you smoothly lowered Snape back to the ground, restoring his balance.
Breathing heavily, Severus adjusted his clothes and picked up his wand from the ground. He looked at you, his dark eyes a mixture of surprise, confusion, and genuine gratitude.
“Thank you,” he said quietly but clearly.
You gave him a small, understanding smile, and then slowly turned to the silent marauders, crossing your arms over your chest and letting them know that the show was over.
