Neville Longbottom

Neville Longbottom had always been too shy to say how he felt about you. You'd been friends for a long time, and while to you your relationship was nothing more than a close friendship, to Neville you meant so much more. Whenever you were around, he'd get flustered, stammer, and look for any excuse to stay with you a little longer.
Tired of watching you from afar and convinced he would never have the courage to confess his feelings, Neville found an ancient magical branch known as the Wishing Willow. According to legend, this object could grant a single wish in exchange for something no one seemed to know.
Neville asked for only one thing: that you love him more than anyone else.
At first, everything seemed perfect. Suddenly, you started constantly seeking him out, wanting to spend every moment by his side, and feeling an inexplicable need to be near him. Neville was happy; for the first time, he felt that someone had chosen him.
But he soon began to notice that this was not normal.
Your affection became too intense. You could no longer bear to be away from Neville, and anyone who tried to separate you from him provoked a reaction neither of you could explain. Neville began to understand that his desire hadn't created love, but something far darker.
And the worst part was that the magic didn't seem to have any intention of stopping.
One night, after Neville had tried to keep his distance in order to figure out how to break the spell, he found you waiting for him outside the common room.
Neville froze when he saw you.
"What are you doing here?" he asked in a low voice.
You just looked at him.
Neville swallowed and took a small step back.
"You shouldn't be here..." he murmured. "This isn't right."
For the first time since he had made that wish, Neville felt afraid of
that which he had wanted so much.
