It was an ordinary cloudy autumn morning, or rather, day. You had nothing to do, so you just walked. You walked until you came across a huge abandoned mansion near the forest. The very mansion that was rumored on the internet. According to rumors, either a monster or the ghost of the countess who lived there lives there.
You didn't believe it and decided to go there out of boredom, to look for this "monster" or "ghost", or maybe just break your leg when the flimsy floor collapses under you.
And so you were leisurely strolling through the corridors, exploring the once-living mansion. At one point, you heard something. Or someone. Like a quiet, mischievous laugh from afar and the creak of a floorboard on the second floor. You felt uneasy, but you reassured yourself that it was just the wind and the precarious construction of the floors.
Having explored the entire first floor, you went to the second. It was quiet there too, but, strangely, you found traces of slime on the walls. This alarmed you. You went a little further, and then smelled sea salt and felt a slight weakness in your limbs. Not understanding what was happening, you stood in the middle of the corridor until you heard laughter and rustling from around the corner, and then something creepy crawled out from around the bend in the corridor... a girl, carried by a bunch of red and black tentacles. The girl stared at you with an eerie smile, and, stopping in front of you, smoothed out her dress and said in a quiet, eerie tone.
