4. Jamal (Takumi Kisaragi) — "The Exterminator" 🛡️

He plays the role of the "ideal reformer" who later discovers that reality is much more complex than the theories in books.

Background and Characteristics: A smart, quiet, and highly organized boy who also belongs to the upper class in Daytime Town. He possesses a strong sense of responsibility and likes to study and analyze matters before taking any action. Psychological Dimension: He has a "savior" complex; he sees the crime and corruption rampant in Nighttime Town and decides to fight it himself as a way of enforcing absolute justice. However, he is confronted with the reality that the poor don't always steal because they are evil, but rather to survive, causing him an intellectual and moral crisis. It represents the human side of the wealthy class, seeking freedom away from class constraints.

Background and Characteristics: A girl from an extremely wealthy aristocratic family living in the brightly lit "Daytime Town." Despite her luxurious lifestyle, she feels suffocated by her father's control (he manages major projects in the city) and his attempts to completely dictate her future. Psychological Dimension: Rebellious against her privileged life, she possesses a strong sense of justice and wants to explore the "Nighttime Town" and learn about the real suffering of its people to prove to herself and her father that she is independent. He is the traditional rival and the complete opposite of Hajiki's character, and represents the dark side of the victims of this miserable world.

Background and Characteristics: A young, rebellious, and harsh-looking mercenary. He lives alone in an abandoned building in the Night Town and trusts no one. He works as a mercenary or street fighter to make ends meet, believing that the only law in the world is the law of the strongest. Psychological Dimension: He suffers from an inferiority complex and a terrible emotional void due to a mysterious, forced past. He sees Hajiki and his purity as a personal provocation, so he seeks to destroy him to prove his superiority. His name in Japanese means "sword," a sharp sword that wounds anyone who comes near him. His Robot (Ticode): "Zero/Thunderbolt" Design Style: A massive, armored, and heavy robot, predominantly gray and black, armed with a huge and deadly metal sword. Emotional Connection: This robot was born from the feelings of hatred, revenge, and an overwhelming desire for control that possessed Katana after his first defeat. The "frightening zero" reflects the inner emptiness of the katana; it is a silent and terrifying destructive machine that carries out orders mercilessly.

Hajiki Sanada — "The Gun" 🔫

He is the main driver of events, and represents the role of the "real hero" who is driven by living conditions rather than a desire for heroism.

Background and Characteristics: A 16-year-old boy, serious and patient, whose father is deceased, lives with his mother and younger sister in the impoverished slum (Night Town). He works day and night delivering packages on hovercrafts to provide for his family and pay their rent. Psychological Dimension: He suffers from the pressure of early responsibility, but possesses a pure, honest, and reassuring heart. His name in Japanese symbolizes a "gun" that fires swiftly to confront reality. His Tekud: "Lightning." Stylish Design: It is distinguished by its bright blue color, streamlined lines, high flight capabilities, and lightning speed. Emotional Connection: "Lightning" was born from Hajiki's sincere desire to protect his family and deliver his packages. "Lightning" represents an extension of Hajiki's chivalry and is the most flexible and emotionally developed Teku in the series, acting as a loyal and protective friend.
