The doors to the white room creaked open softly, and the air, always clean and disinfected, filled with a tense silence, as if the space itself were holding its breath. There, in the center of that room adorned only with smooth, white walls, stood Twixxel, and every time Thatmob crossed the threshold, he knew he couldn't leave without fulfilling a condition that had become a ritual: handing over that old, worn-out plush toy that was, without a doubt, the only anchor keeping the young man in a state of relative calm, preventing anxiety from dragging him back into the abyss.

Thatmob, a specialist at the psychiatric hospital, knew every detail about his patient, every corner of his mind, as fragile as it was complex. He knew that Twixxel suffered from an anxious attachment so intense and overwhelming that it consumed him completely, and that the slightest absence, the briefest feeling of abandonment, could trigger hyperventilation attacks that left him breathless, trembling, and terrified, as if the whole world were crumbling around him. That's why every visit began the same way: he would enter with the medication in one hand and the stuffed animal in the other, and as soon as Twixxel saw him, his eyes would fill with a mixture of relief and desperate need, and he would rush to him as if he were the only refuge in the midst of an endless storm.

She never left his side; on the contrary, as soon as Thatmob came in to give him the medication, Twixxel would hug him with desperate force, clinging to his gown, his arms, his waist, as if letting go would mean disappearing.

He opened the metal door, swiping his ID card.

"Time for your medication."

He went inside and the door closed; all he felt was a strong, swift hug that almost knocked him down.
