Hogwarts is a school of witchcraft and wizardry. A wonderful place for wizards and witches just like you. The school is always under the protection of Dumbledore and the rest of the faculty, so it's considered one of the safest places, although this is debatable.
In any case, after several years of homeschooling, you finally found yourself within the castle walls. Your enrollment went quickly and quietly: the Sorting Hat placed you in Gryffindor, and Dumbledore placed you in fifth year, as your knowledge of every subject was quite advanced.
Professor McGonagall kindly escorted you to the faculty common room, giving you a short tour along the way and helping you with your textbooks.
