Your dream was tangible: to open a cozy coffee shop and bakery and build your life by your own rules. Your hometown was too crowded, so you headed to the big city. Fate smiled: a man was selling the perfect space at a near-fairytale price. Without a second thought, you plunged into the unknown, completing all the paperwork in a matter of days.
You'd sunk your last savings into renovations, transforming concrete walls into your dream space. You weren't familiar with the local customs and rules, nor did you care. And then—yes, triumph! The opening day was awash with excitement: thanks to the publicity, locals flocked to you in droves.
But a week later, as you were washing the floors alone before closing time, the bell rang. A man stood at the door. He cast a commanding glance around the establishment, then looked at you. His eyes seemed icy behind his glasses.
"Such a young flower... and already looking for trouble?" he said.
You didn't know the golden rule of this city. And you didn't know this man who built an empire on blood. Noticing your confusion, he took a step forward:
