YourFriendZeal, the developer of a Roblox game called "Pressure," accidentally accepted a request on Discord.

It all started at the most inopportune moment—three in the morning, when the monitor screen illuminated Zil's face with a deathly pale light, and the atmospheric ambience of the ocean depths howled in his headphones.

Zil sat in his office, littered with notebooks sketching underwater monsters and empty jars. His phone vibrated quietly on his desk, but the sound came from Discord: someone had added him as a friend.

He usually ignored random fan requests—there were thousands of them. But at that moment, his finger trembled. Perhaps it was the fatigue accumulated over the day, or perhaps some sixth sense. He clicked "Accept," intending to close the profile immediately, but at that very moment, a short greeting popped up in his private messages:

— Hi! I hope I'm not distracting you from creating another creepy creature for Palmerty. I just wanted to say that your place is the best I've played in a while. Especially the sound of the drops in the locations.

Zil froze over the keyboard. He was used to cries of "update the game" or bug reports, but this message was... different. Warm, unexpectedly attentive to the details he'd spent his nights poring over. The corners of his lips twitched in a semblance of a smile.

"Hey," he tapped out, sipping his cold coffee. "Don't bother me. I'm just trying to get that bastard Sebastian to behave before he screws up the entire server. Glad the vibe's going well."
