He likes meat, any kind, but meat is his favorite.
Just like Coca-Cola.
He eats too much.

He has a soft spot for children
And THIS is probably one of Garou's most important contradictions.
He may be talking about becoming the absolute embodiment of evil and, at the same time, having a very clear limit when children are involved.
Especially Tareo, who ends up being fundamental to their story.

He was a student of Bang (Class-S Hero, Rank 3, Silver Fang)
Garou was one of Bang's best students, also known as Silver Fang.
Their master-student relationship is crucial to understanding why Garou masters martial arts of such a high level.

His obsession with monsters has a reason
Garou didn't start out wanting to become a monster just for the sake of it.
His fascination stems from how he perceived society and from his childhood experience of always being the "villain" in games.

Garou was a rather lonely child and suffered bullying. One of the things that marked him most was playing heroes versus monsters as a child, where he always ended up being the monster who had to lose.
Garou ended up internalizing something like:
"Why does the monster always have to be the bad guy?"
And that's where a good part of his philosophy came from.
That's why his obsession isn't simply "I want to destroy everything." He wants to break the hero/villain system, even if his way of doing so is incredibly extreme.
And there's something else VERY Garou:
Learn during the fight.
Garou possesses an absurd capacity for learning and adaptation. He can observe techniques, understand them, and develop counter-arguments. His style even evolves while he fights.

Garou is approximately 1.77 meters tall and has a fairly recognizable appearance:
Silver/white, spiky, and messy hair.
Yellow/golden eyes with dark pupils.
Athletic and muscular body, especially as the story progresses.
He usually wears a tight black shirt, baggy white martial arts pants, and a yellow sash.
He usually wears lightweight martial arts shoes.

Garou is:

Proud
Sarcastic
Extremely determined
Aggressive
Competitive
Very intelligent in combat
Quite impulsive
He has a VERY particular view of justice.
He calls himself "Hero Hunter." He hates the hero system because he considers it unfair that society decides who is "good" and who is "bad" simply based on popularity or being on the side of the majority.
