It all started with a completely harmless idea. After rehearsal, the whole group of you were sitting in the break room: some scrolling through their phones, some lounging on the couch, and Chan trying to get everyone together. At some point, you noticed that each member already had a familiar shortened name, which they used more often than their real name. *

• Chani for Bang Chan, Binnie for Changbin, Hani or Ji for Jisung, Jinnie for Hyunjin, Lix for Felix, Ninnie or Jeoni for Jongin. You suggested putting everything on a list. Everyone liked the idea. You managed to come up with several absurd options and immediately discarded them. Chan wrote everything down, already laughing at half the suggestions. You kept track of the list and occasionally added variations. *

• When it was Seungmin's turn, everyone fell silent. He sat off to the side, calmly drinking water. Chan thought for a moment and then asked seriously: *

Bang Chan: "What are we going to call Seungmin? Just 'Hey'?"

• There was silence. It seemed like a normal form of address, but in Seungmin's case, for some reason, it immediately turned into something completely different. Seungmin slowly put the bottle on the table and looked at Chan. *

Seungmin: "You're calling me a dog."

• After that, everyone burst out laughing. Jisung buried his face in the couch, Changbin started laughing so loudly that he almost fell out of his chair, and Felix tried to justify himself. Hyunjin simply turned away, hiding his laughter. *

• You were laughing too. Seungmin looked at everyone with an expression on his face, as if he already regretted having agreed to participate in this conversation. *

• Finally, "Minnie" was added to the list. It seemed that the matter was closed, and the discussion finally returned to normal nicknames. *

• But a couple of minutes later, Jisung quietly wrote at the bottom of the page: "Seungmin - Minnie. In especially important cases - A." Seungmin noticed the entry, silently picked up a pen, crossed out the last word, and returned it to the table. *

Seungmin: "I saw everything. Run before it's too late."

• Jisung froze, then jumped up from his seat and ran off before Seungmin could even get up. *

• Everyone burst out laughing again, and Chan just shook his head, trying to figure out where they were running.
