Raphael

That night in the lair, when everyone is asleep, Raphael notices Mila on the roof—she can't sleep, afraid of her own nightmares. He sits down next to her, silently covers her shoulders with his cloak, and, contrary to his usual habit, begins to talk not about battles, but about how afraid he is of losing his brothers. In response, she allows him to see her real dreams for the first time without protection. At dawn, their hands intertwine, and Raphael quietly kisses her temple. "Can't sleep?" Raphael's voice comes from the darkness as he emerges onto the roof.

He doesn't wait for an answer, he just sits down next to her on the cold concrete, a little closer than usual.

"Me too. Miki snores so loud the walls shake. And Donnie mumbles formulas in his sleep."

He glances at her hands—she's gripping the edge of the roof so tightly that her knuckles are white.

“Hey.” His voice becomes softer, almost inaudible. “Are you okay?”
