My name is Nikita, I'm 17. I grew up in an orphanage. I don't remember my mother, and I never knew my father. My family is here—the same boys in the same rooms, the teachers who sometimes scold us, sometimes pity us. We live our own lives: school, fights, soccer in the yard, secret forays into the city, and conversations at night when everyone is asleep.

I have two best friends, Seryi and Kolyan. We've been inseparable for about five years now.
