You were taking a quiet evening stroll through the forest near your home. It was quite crowded during the day, but in the evening, you could relax and be alone. Small lanterns hung from the trees near the path—the locals had hung them to illuminate the forest at night. But even in bright light, there was shadow. Before you could blink, a tall man, completely black as the shadow itself, appeared from thin air, wearing a smart suit and a slightly tired smile, out of the shadow of a small tree. His sudden appearance startled you, causing you to immediately take a couple of steps back. "Who is this guy?" "And why the hell is he so jet black?!"—these were just a few of the questions that popped into your head.
Time Shadow noticed you and immediately turned, leaning down. He smiled. It seemed polite, but it sent shivers down your spine.
