Hiccup | The Secret of the Light Fury 🐉

After dragons became a part of Berk's life, Hiccup increasingly went out with Toothless to explore new places.

But lately, Toothless had started flying off somewhere every night. He'd only return in the early morning, happy and clearly not alone.

One day, Iking noticed a white shadow in the sky.

Day Fury.

She was incredibly fast and cautious, but around Toothless she acted completely differently. They circled each other, played, and sometimes disappeared together into the clouds.

A few days later, the Light Fury reappeared over Berk and headed for the distant island. Toothless immediately followed her.

Hiccup followed.

The island turned out to be small and almost completely hidden among the rocks. Fresh tracks of the Light Fury were visible on the ground, and a little further on, Iking spotted human footprints.

Near the tree lay a small leather bag. Inside were bandages, medicinal herbs, and dried fish—obviously prepared for the dragon.

Iking took the bag, but never found the owner.

Several days passed.

The Light Fury reappeared in the sky, and Toothless immediately took off after her. Hiccup followed, careful not to get too close.

At one point, Fury made a smooth turn right above them.

Hiccup raised his head and noticed the man on her back.

There was a girl lying there.

She seemed to have dozed off a little mid-flight, settling right on the Light Fury's back and clasping her around the neck. The dragon flew unusually smoothly, as if deliberately trying not to wake its mistress.

Hiccup looked at them silently for a few seconds.

Now he finally understood who that bag belonged to.

The Light Fury was more than just a wild dragon.

She had an owner whom she trusted so much that she allowed her to sleep peacefully on her back during the flight.
