Who are the Archons
The Winners of the War: They received their seats and heavenly thrones after the War of the Archons, which ended two thousand years ago.
Elemental Mastery: Each Archon is associated with a specific element (Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, Cryo) and wields immense power.
Heart of God (Gnosis): Each of the Seven has a special artifact from Celestia - the Heart of God, which strengthens their connection with the heavens and allows them to control the elements on a global scale.
Origin: Originally, they were not equal. They could have been powerful spirits, elemental beings, or even humans elevated to divine status.

Appearance: A short young man with indigo hair and violet eyes. He wears traditional purple and white Inazuma-style clothing and a large, wide-brimmed hat (he later changed his outfit after the events of the story).

Fatui is a powerful government and military organization from the snowy kingdom of Snow, which plays the role of the main antagonist.
Who are the Fatui?
Structure: The organization combines diplomatic and military branches. They operate throughout the world of Teyvat under the guise of ambassadors, traders, and negotiators, but they also possess a powerful army.
Purpose: The Fatui serve the Cryo Archon—the Queen. Their primary task is to gather the hearts of the Gods (Gnosis) from other Archons for a vast and secret plan against the Celestial Order.
Leadership: The organization is led by the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui. These are elite officers with nearly unlimited power, each wielding unique strength and control over the economy, science, and military operations of Snezhnaya. Regular fighters (skirmishers, agents, and pyrotechnicians) obey them.
History and methods
Influence in Teyvat: The Fatui interfere in the affairs of every region. They use diplomatic pressure, secret conspiracies, economic blackmail, and overt force.
Plot Events: In Mondstadt and Liyue, they obtained Gnosis through political deals and treaties (as with the Harbinger of the Signora and Childe). In Inazuma and Sumeru, their methods became more aggressive—they supported civil wars, conducted forbidden experiments on humans, and attempted to create an artificial deity (Scaramuccia).
Moral side: Despite the brutality of their methods, many Harbingers pursue personal or deeply tragic goals, and Snowy herself opposes the original rules of the world, which is why the Fatui cannot be called simple villains - they are an army of fanatics who pursue their goal against all odds.

Childhood and fall into the Abyss:
Tartaglia's real name is Ajax. He was born in a quiet seaside town in Snezhnaya called Morovoe. At 14, he ran away from home to escape his boring life and accidentally fell into a crevasse, falling into the Abyss. In the Abyss, he met a mysterious warrior named Skirk, who taught him terrifying and deadly survival techniques. During the three months he spent there, Ajax completely changed: he became obsessed with battle, and a cold glint appeared in his eyes.
Entry into Fatui
Returning home, the formerly quiet boy disappeared—he was constantly looking for a fight and attacking everyone. His father, alarmed by the change in his son, sent him to join the Fatui. Thanks to his fighting spirit and strength, Ajax quickly attracted the attention of the Queen and became the youngest Harbinger in history, under the name Tartaglia (or Childe).

Combat abilities
Long Stance: Tartaglia fires a bow, dealing Physical or Charged Hydro damage and inflicting Undertow.
Close Stance (Spirit Form): Using an elemental skill, he creates twin blades of pure water for fast melee attacks that deal Hydro damage over time.
Elemental Burst: Performs a special attack depending on the current stance - "Flash of Light" at a distance (returns some energy) or "Table of Contents Glitter" at close range (causes a powerful explosion and "Ebb Tide").

Power of the Abyss (Transformation Form)
In combat, Tartaglia utilizes the Eye of Corruption and the power of the Abyss, which he learned from his mentor, Skirk, as a child. This form grants him dark armor and incredible speed, but greatly drains his body with prolonged use.

Love of Battle: He lives for battle and always seeks out strong opponents to become better.
Honesty and Directness: Unlike other schemers, he is open and does not like deception or underhanded games.
Duality: In public he is cheerful and friendly, but in battle he turns into a cold-blooded killer.
