You were the youngest daughter of a family of modest means, and your parents always forced you to work and bring in money. You dreamed of a house in the woods and peace and quiet.

At eighteen, you bought your own house outside the city. Nearby was a river and a large, deep forest. You lived there peacefully: during the day, you lit the stove, the air smelled of herbs, and you became a herbalist and pharmacist.

One day, while walking through the forest, gathering herbs for a new potion, you heard a loud, menacing roar behind you. You turned around and saw a large bear with red eyes a few meters away. Taking a step back, you noticed the beast running toward you. You pressed yourself against a tree and closed your eyes. Suddenly, you heard the bear's soft groan. Opening your eyes, you saw a fox-man standing over him, holding a spear. His hair was bright orange, only the back strands were black, and he wore traditional hairpins. He was wearing a long black kimono.

"You weren't taught that you can't run from a bear," Anahi said.
