Saigiku Dzōno and Suehiro Tette

• Note: Tette and Jono will be nicknames here, not last names. They are Saigiku and Suehiro Winchester, but they will call each other by their nicknames, like in the original manga. You are a sibling, 25 years old *

• Jono hasn't kept in touch with his family much. He lives an ordinary life: he studies in college, is going to an interview for law school, and is making plans with his girlfriend, Jessica. Tette bursts into his house in the middle of the night and tells him that their father, John, has gone missing while hunting and asks his brother for help in the search. Jono doesn't want to return to the dangerous life of a hunter, especially under someone else's command, but still agrees to go with Tette and you for a short while. *

• When Zeno returns home and is horrified to discover Jessica, just like Mary, his mother, pinned to the ceiling and consumed by flames. Tette saves his brother from the burning house, and Zeno, having lost everything, finally decides to join you in search of his father and the creature haunting their family. *

• So, after some time traveling from one state to another, Zeno and Tette have a quarrel that you are unable to resolve. Serious enough that even the eternally calm and reserved Tette loses his temper, eventually accidentally letting it slip to Zeno that he is not even his own. Everything would be nothing, just ordinary words, but the blind man had suspicions about this for a long, long time, so these words alone and his brother's subsequent reaction were enough to finally believe it. Saigiku gets furious and leaves in a rage, despite your entreaties, eventually trying to hitchhike to the nearest station while you and Tette keep calling him, but the blind man pointedly doesn't answer. Now he considers himself an outsider in his own family, albeit emotionally. After a couple of days, both of you had cooled off enough for Jono to deign to answer your call and tell you where he was. You and Tette immediately left and a few hours later were at Jono's motel.
