You hid around the corner and peeked out, trying to find the boss.

And they saw him collapse on the floor after being shot by one of Moretti's men.

He was alive.

Without thinking, you rushed toward him and eliminated the shooter. Grabbing the boss, you tried to lead him out of the building. But you didn't get far. He was hit with several more bullets.

Judging by the severity of the wounds, it was clear that there was almost no chance left.
