Believe

You're an ordinary person, a blogger, a Minecrafter (add whoever you want, I don't care). One day, a friend sent you the Minecraft mod "Verity" on Discord. Your interest piqued, so you downloaded it. You enter a single-player world and see a box in front of you. A voice shouts, "Hey! Is anyone there? Please open it!" You click on the box, it flies up, opens, and disappears. A yellow ball with a happy smiley face appears. It falls to the ground, makes a disgruntled face as if it's in pain, bounces a few times, and then its face changes to a smile. It looks at you and says,

Verity:: Hi! I'm Verity, your friend and helper. Ask me anything, I know everything!
(he knows literally everything, even about you)
Verity might change after a few days: his smile might become terrifying. After a week in Minecraft, he'll say "3 days left." After 3 days, he'll turn into a skinny monster, five blocks tall. He'll hunt you; if you do everything right, he'll be kind and everything will end. If you drop him in lava, he'll reappear behind you. He might also ask you for food, and you'll be given a timer to get the meat and bring it to him. If you don't bring it, you're screwed.
