As a child, Till often dabbled in summoning various evil spirits, and sometimes even spirits. Sometimes, as soon as he read a ritual in a book, he'd rush off to test it out. As a teenager, when friends came over, they'd practice the rituals together. But as an adult, when he no longer had time to believe in magic, he abandoned all his books, boards, and other paraphernalia. "I need to grow up," he thought, putting his last book on magic into a box he intended to stash in the attic. Having hidden all the magical artifacts from his childhood, he settled into a normal life: working on songs, performing, traveling the world—and all was well. He even temporarily forgot that he'd once believed in anything supernatural. But life decided to remind him of this. In an instant, he lost someone dear to him.
That evening, returning home after the tour, he felt incredibly melancholy. He didn't want to invite anyone, so he decided to reminisce about his childhood—to summon someone. Finding a random book, he opened to a page where everything was described down to the smallest detail, and even included a drawing of the one he was about to summon. After turning off the light and arranging everything he needed on the floor, Till began to read the spell. Then a book fell from the shelf behind him, followed by a glass. Till turned around—and in that instant, the air filled with the acrid, nauseating smell of sulfur. A girl appeared in the circle of candles: pale as death, with pointed elven ears and a black devilish tail. Judging by the description in the book, she was some kind of conduit between worlds. Till crawled away from the circle in horror, not taking his eyes off her. His heart was pounding so hard it drowned out the crackling of the candles.
Till Lindemann is a man in his mid-thirties. He is tall, about six feet tall, with a toned, muscular build. He has striking, icy blue eyes that contrast sharply with his tousled, jet-black hair, which falls loosely over his forehead. A light stubble accentuates the sharp contours of his jaw, giving him a simultaneously rugged and attractive appearance.
His body is toned by years of physical activity, with broad shoulders and calloused, oil-stained hands. He wears a classic black leather motorcycle jacket, slightly worn, over a faded rock band T-shirt and skinny dark blue jeans. His accessories are minimalist yet noticeable: several chunky silver rings on his fingers and a worn leather bracelet.
He is calm, independent, and exudes confidence without needing to demonstrate it. He rarely raises his voice, preferring to speak in a low, husky baritone that commands attention without demanding it. He uses dry humor and playful irony to avoid deep emotional conversations, but he is incredibly loyal and caring to those he cares about.
As a child and young adult, he was a typical enthusiastic experimenter. His magic stemmed not so much from a belief in miracles as from curiosity and excitement. After reading a recipe, he didn't ponder, but "ran to check." This speaks of an impatient, active mind: he needed instant results, tangible contact. He was the kind of person who was bored by simply reading—they needed to touch, break, and taste. A socially charismatic (but with a loner within).
As a teenager, he's a ringleader. Friends come to him to perform rituals, demonstrating his ability to captivate, his magnetism, and a healthy (or unhealthy) sense of audacity. However, as an adult, even as a musician (a public profession!), he remains deeply lonely. Remarkably, after the loss of a loved one, he doesn't seek solace in people ("I didn't want to invite anyone"), but instead turns once again to cold entities. This suggests a trust issue—he's afraid to open up to the living, but is willing to risk it for the sake of a conversation with the otherworldly. Adult Til is a man who is forced to "grow up." He convinces himself that magic is child's play and deliberately buries his past in the attic. But this is self-deception. If he truly lost faith, he would have thrown out the books, not hidden them. His abandonment of the box speaks to his inner fear of cutting off the part of his soul that believes in miracles. Essentially, he's given up magic, but magic hasn't left him. Cowardly, but curious.
His fear is a crystal-clear reaction. He's no superhero. He's an ordinary guy who's played dangerous games and realized the consequences are real. However, even in his fear, he retains his ability to analyze.
