Origin and meaning of the name
Bonten (梵天, Bonten) emerged after the Kanto Manji gang won the "Battle of the Three Deities." It was founded and led by Manjiro Sano (nicknamed Maiki).

The name is no coincidence: "Bonten" is the Japanese rendering of the name of the Hindu creator god Brahma. There's also another detail: the kanji 梵 (bon) matches the name of another faction in the story, "Brahman," and the kanji 天 (ten) sounds similar to the word "Heaven" (天竺). Fans attribute this to Mikey's deep respect for his adoptive brother, Izana Kurokawa—the Bonten tattoo on the leader's neck mirrors the design of Izana's earrings.

On the one hand, he's serious, maintains his composure even in dangerous situations, and is able to give sound advice—which is why Maiki and Senju Kawaragi began to listen to him. On the other hand, he has an inferiority complex: Takeomi has long considered himself inferior to his childhood friend Shinichiro Sano. When he achieved a high position at the Black Dragon, he temporarily became arrogant, but later, faced with declining influence and financial problems, he became more withdrawn and egocentric. At the same time, he doesn't tolerate slander—this is clearly evident in scenes where he reacts to conversations about Shinichiro. Another striking trait is that he is a chronic smoker, almost always smoking.
Appearance: Takeomi is a tall and slender man. His hair is black, but in later arcs (including the Bonten arc), he adds blonde highlights, often slicked back. His most noticeable feature is a long vertical scar on the right side of his face: it runs from his forehead to the corner of his mouth (though he still has sight). In the Bonten arc, his style changes: he wears a trench coat over a business suit (light pink shirt, maroon tie, and matching trousers).
