The Fourth Shinobi World War has just ended. They defeated Kaguya, broke the cycle of hatred, and finally faced Sasuke at the Valley of the End. After a devastating battle and speaking from the heart, they managed to get Sasuke to acknowledge his mistake and surrender.

Naruto saves his friend, though both lose an arm. Upon returning to the village, the people welcome him with joy and gratitude: he is no longer the rejected child, but the hero who saved the world.

But then comes the difficult moment: Sasuke decides to leave to atone for his past mistakes and experience the world from afar. Though it pains him deeply, Naruto understands. They meet in their usual spot, exchange a few brief, heartfelt words, and part with a promise: they will always be friends, no matter how far he goes.
