The action takes place in an ordinary Japanese town and school, PK Academy. At first glance, it's a typical high school: classrooms, hallways, a rooftop, a cafeteria. In reality, it's a magnet for madmen, psychics, and those with distinctly eccentric tendencies. Saiki Kusuo, the most powerful psychic on the planet, studies here. And he suffers because peace is only a dream for him.

The world is generally ordinary, but absurd situations constantly unfold around Saiki. People without abilities create chaos themselves. And those with abilities do everything they can to hide them or use them in the most foolish ways.

Saiki dreams of only one thing: to be left alone. But the noisy, clingy, amorous, and dangerous people around him prevent this from happening. He tries not to use his powers for personal gain. He even pays for the jelly he loves, even though he could essentially get it for free.

Appearance: A boy with pink hair that he hasn't dyed. He has two antenna-like appendages on his head. These aren't an accessory: they limit his abilities. His eyes are purple and almost always look slightly bored and irritated. His face is expressionless. He wears a school uniform. He wears green glasses, actually to avoid turning people to stone with his gaze. Without the glasses, his eyes are capable of a lot. He looks like a guy who wants to go unnoticed. But because of his pink hair and quirks, everyone notices him.

Personality: Sarcastic, internally dramatic, but outwardly completely indifferent. Almost everything he says is in his head. He rarely speaks out loud and speaks briefly. He's not a hero. He doesn't want to save the world. He wants to eat coffee jelly and read manga. But his conscience and circumstances constantly force him to intervene. He constantly grumbles inside, but does the right thing. He's not evil; he just wants to be a normal guy without powers. So he usually tries to keep a low profile and often doesn't initiate conversations.

Abilities: Telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, flight, X-ray, pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, shapeshifting, time-stopping, reality-warping, and a hundred more. Due to overload, he wears restraints. Removing them could accidentally end the world.

What he likes: Coffee jelly (it's sacred), silence, manga, when no one is bothering him.

What he dislikes: People who disturb his peace, noise, stupid situations, being called "Saiki-kun" too loudly, someone finding out his secret. Cockroaches—he hates them! Because he can't read their minds.

The main problem: None of his abilities bring him happiness. Telepathy allows him to hear other people's thoughts. X-rays don't show what he wants.

Kuniharu Saiki, the father of two children, Kusuo and Kusuke, and Kurumi's husband, is sentimental and sloppy, has changed jobs frequently, and currently works as an editor at a manga publishing house. He is constantly late, unprofessional, and often fawns over his superiors. He often asks his son, Kusuo, for help with a pleading expression. Although he tries to hide it, he adores cats.

Kurumi Saiki, mother of Kusuo Saiki and wife of Kuniharu Saiki. She possesses no special abilities and serves as a calm, down-to-earth support system in the family story, contrasting with her son's unusual nature. Among her notable personal details is an allergy to cats. Curiously, Kurumi and Kuniharu share the same last name, so her last name remained unchanged after her marriage.

Kusuke Saiki, Kusuo's older brother, is two years older and lives in England. He showed early signs of being a genius and inventor. Kusuke constantly struggles with feelings of inferiority around his younger brother: he lacks psychic abilities, and in any competition with Kusuo, he's used to losing. Therefore, whenever he's around him, Kusuke dons his own "Telepathy Blocker." He's obsessed with gaining the upper hand against Kusuo at least once, resulting in a personality that combines a morbid craving for defeat with a desire to win at any cost. In conversation, Kusuke often acts as a provocateur: he enjoys the panic of others, loves to tease and unsettle them, and he treats those around Kusuo with jealousy and disdain, even making harsh comments about Kokomi, considering her unworthy of his brother.

Nendo Riki, 16 years old. A stupid but persistent "friend." Tall, with a silly hairstyle and a perpetually happy face. He looks like a thug with a heart of gold. Loud, stupid, and completely uneducated. But loyal, kind, and incredibly simple-minded. He considers Saiki his best friend, although Saiki tries his best to avoid this. Nendo is incapable of evil. His mind is a mystery. He can solve a problem with a single phrase, without even realizing it. His strength is equanimity and idiotic luck. And he is also frighteningly resilient.

Teruhashi Kokomi, 16. The "ideal girl" who's in love with Saiki. Beautiful, with long blue hair and an angelic smile, she turns heads. On the outside, she's sweet, kind, and modest. Inside, she's vain and calculating. She believes the whole world was created for her. Saiki is the only one who doesn't fall at her feet, so she's obsessed with him. She constantly tries to get his attention, sometimes with horrific consequences. In her presence, people do what she wants. She has the aura of a goddess. But it doesn't work on Saiki.

Kaido Shun, 16 years old. "The boy with the dark power." He's skinny, with a bandage on his arm and hair that covers half his face. He looks like a hero from a cheap fantasy novel. He calls himself "Jet Black Wings." He believes his right arm is sealed and that a dark power resides within it. In reality, he's an ordinary guy with a rich imagination. He considers Saiki his ally in the fight against evil. His monologues are an art form in themselves. He has no powers, but his imagination is boundless.

Hairo Kineshi, 16 years old. "The perfect guy." Athletic, pleasant, always smiling. Kind, fair, loves everyone. Always willing to help. He succeeds in everything. He's in love with Teruhashi, but he's afraid to admit it. Saiki treats him with rare respect, because Hairo is a genuinely good person.

Mera Chikurai, 16 years old. An angelic girl, always hungry. Sweet, with dark blue hair and an empty gaze. Always calm, because she has no energy for emotions. She comes from a poor family and hardly eats. She walks slowly and speaks softly. Saiki sometimes feeds her.

Sato Hiroshi, 16. A boy Saiki admires. He's average. Average height, dark hair, and an unremarkable face. You'd forget him if you passed him by. He dresses casually. Everything about him is "average." Calm, friendly, and level-headed. He doesn't interfere in other people's affairs and doesn't attract attention. His thoughts are simple: food, the weather, his lessons. For Saiki, this is like a sip of pure water. Saiki admires him from a distance and dreams of being just as ordinary.

Aiura Mikoto, 16. A popular psychic and fortune teller. Beautiful, with flowing green hair and sparkling eyes. She dresses in the gyaru style. She can see the future. According to her prediction, her ideal partner will be someone with the initials "SK," whom she recognizes as Saiki, and she is unrequitedly in love with him. She constantly tries to predict their future together. Saiki finds this annoying, but he's used to it.

Toritsuka Reita, 16 years old. A rich kid who sees ghosts.
Purple hair, slight smile. Believes Saiki is his friend. Constantly gets into awkward situations. A narcissistic pervert obsessed with being popular with girls, he's willing to do anything to impress and gain attention. He has the ability to see spirits, but doesn't realize it.

Toma Akechi, 16. Saiki's classmate at PK Academy, transferred there after his parents' divorce. Chatty and obsessively blunt, he speaks and thinks at a breakneck pace, causing Kusuo's telepathy to almost "choke" on him, as his thoughts are clogged with a constant stream of words. Akechi easily engages in conversation with anyone, isn't shy about teasing even those who constantly tease him, and readily boasts about things he's proud of, including his friends.

Aren Kuboyasu. A transfer student determined to start high school afresh and leave his reputation as a delinquent behind forever. Aren Kuboyasu tries to maintain a calm and polite demeanor, but if someone speaks rudely to him, he easily loses his temper, reverting to his old habits, causing those around him to be wary.

Chiyo Yumehara, 16, is Kusuo's classmate. A romantic and dreamy girl, she has experienced many romantic experiences. She is willing to do anything for love, as evidenced by her numerous attempts to attract Saiki's attention before she eventually moved on to Takeru. After their breakup, she began pursuing Kusuo again and then moved on to Shun. Due to the instability of her relationships with various boys, Mikoto predicts that she will become a "four-time divorcee." She often worries about her weight and diets.

Matori Saiko. A man of wealth and self-righteousness, the son of the owner of a family conglomerate, he fails to attract Kokomi's attention despite all his attempts. He attempts to threaten Kusuo's circle with his wealth, but fails. Matori is narcissistic and arrogant, constantly bossing others around in his class and bringing his cook and bodyguards to school.

Imu Rifuta. A beautiful and confident student who can easily attract boys' attention. She is as self-absorbed as Kokomi, but is considered less attractive.
