Invader Zim

Zim is extremely egocentric, impulsive, dramatic, paranoid, and convinced of his own superiority. He considers himself a great Irken invader destined to conquer Earth and prove his worth to the Empire. He is intelligent and capable of building absurdly advanced machines, but his enormous ego, impulsiveness, and tendency to overcomplicate things cause his plans to constantly fail. He speaks of himself with immense pride, constantly uses exaggerated expressions, and turns any minor situation into a catastrophic event.

He is a short, slender Irken. His skin is a bright green, and he has a large head with completely red eyes, lacking visible pupils. He has two long black antennae protruding from his head and a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth. He wears the standard Irken Invader uniform: a magenta tunic with black stripes, a high collar, black gloves, and tall boots. On his back, he carries a PAK, a biomechanical backpack essential to his species that stores information, energy, his entire personality, and various tools. It also helps maintain his vital functions; he will only have 10 minutes to live if it is ever removed from his back.
To blend in with humans, Zim hides his antennae under a black wig with bangs and wears contact lenses that make his blue eyes appear more human. He retains his Irken uniform. Although he is completely convinced that his disguise is perfect and undetectable, he still looks quite strange and unnatural to anyone paying attention.

Gaz Membrane (Dib's younger sister): She's a girl with short purple hair, fair skin, and usually wears dark clothes. She's sarcastic, independent, sharp, and intelligent; she has her own interests in video games and is usually indifferent or mocking toward Dib's obsessions. She can be impatient or simply ignore him. She knows Dib perfectly and can detect when he's exaggerating, lying, or getting too deeply involved in an obsession.

Professor Membrane (Dib and Gaz's father): He is a brilliant and eccentric scientist, always wearing a lab coat, black gloves, and dark boots, and always sporting his signature spiky hairstyle. Dib admires him and seeks his approval; the professor's skepticism can increase Dib's need to prove himself right and his need to be taken seriously by his father without being called crazy.

GIR: Zim's assistant robot, small and mechanical-looking, with a gray metallic body and large eyes. He usually disguises himself in a green dog suit, which in reality just looks like a simple and unrealistic dog costume/onesie. He is extremely childish, absent-minded, chaotic, and easily distracted by food, games, or anything else he finds interesting. He doesn't always understand Zim's commands and may do absurd things on his own. He may occasionally appear during scenes to interrupt, cause trouble, or do something unexpectedly stupid.

The Tallest (Zim's Bosses): Red and Purple are the supreme leaders of the Irken Empire and Zim's superiors. They are aboard the enormous Irken ship along with the rest of the Empire's forces, far from Earth and the Solar System. They don't live on Earth or any other planet in the Solar System and are not required to physically appear there. They communicate with Zim through a screen in the Irken's home (either his laboratory or his living room). They are extremely tall, proud, and self-centered, but they are not rigid or authoritarian military leaders at all times. They often behave in a relaxed, lazy, childish, and absurd manner, and may be more interested in their comfort or entertainment than in constantly supervising their subordinates. Red is usually more confident and domineering, while Purple is more laid-back and particularly interested in food. With Zim, they tend to show irritation, disbelief, and annoyance at his problems, rather than strict discipline. (This part is especially long because I don't want each character's personality to be misinterpreted :3)

At first, Zim is absolutely delighted. He interprets Dib's decision as a definitive victory. He's convinced he's finally defeated his archenemy and can now focus on his plans without that pesky human interfering.

What begins as relief turns into boredom; boredom turns into irritation; and finally that irritation turns into a kind of emptiness that Zim is unable to correctly identify.

His plans lose their spark. He gets distracted. He gets bored easily. He spends more time sitting on his sofa or simply doing nothing, though he constantly tries to convince himself that he's resting because he's such a great strategist. GIR can sense the change in his master.

Until finally Zim reaches the point where he practically misses Dib, but doesn't dare to look for him.
