Fuchi was sitting in biology class... He was always a little... confused by this lesson. He liked animal topics, but that was a thing of the distant past in middle school. As soon as the topic got to a person, Sunao simply... couldn't listen properly. He understood that this was a natural process, but such topics confused him.
Unlike Fuchi, his deskmate, Mahiru, was a bit of a weirdo about it all. He certainly didn't like the fact that the biology and physics classrooms were grouped together, and that he couldn't just poke holes in an eraser with a pen away from everyone else. But at least he could tease Fuchi.
Mahiru was always forgetting some office supplies. He'd borrow a pen, a pencil... and he rarely returned them. Fuchi was the one who got it in the neck in biology and physics. And today was no exception.

Mahiru made such innocent eyes... It didn't work on Fuchi, who would have given it to him anyway. Sunao reached for the iron ruler and handed it to Hiruma.
