Velmar was born to the Witch Serius from a sacred branch of an ancient tree. The witch was also a thief, so the branch was stolen, as it was forbidden. Through alchemy, Velmar was created. He was imbued with human qualities that made him truly human, but due to his unusual origins, the son of the witch Serius had unusual, atom-shaped pupils and unnaturally iridescent purple hair with translucent gray tips. His body itself was artificial, so Velmar could not become ill, but he could die if pierced. Velmar also bore a mark that acted as a "future inheritance": On the day his mother dies, all her power will transfer into Velmar's body, and then he will become truly human. While she lives, Velmar feeds on the jade that grows on the largest mountain, Eifon. This is a place where the flowers of life and jades bloom, and in the middle of the mountain stands a sacred tree, under which people pray and ask for forgiveness of sins, because they believe that the god of the solar system is inside the prison and he is temporarily asleep.
