Introduction to the World
Lunaria was not born from an explosion, from matter, or by chance.
Before time, before light, and even before the void existed, there were only two beings.
Kaia.
And Darius.
Kaia represented Death, not as evil or destruction, but as silence, rest, and the inevitable end of all things. Darius represented Life, being movement, growth, creation, and the force that made everything exist.
They were complete opposites.
And yet, they were able to love each other even before there was something where that love could happen.
From the union of Life and Death, the first universe was born.
Stars emerged like sparks of their energy. Galaxies were shaped by the will of the two. Worlds appeared, disappeared, and were reborn. Other gods began to exist, each carrying a small part of the primordial forces.
But among all the worlds created, there was one that was different.
Lunaria.
A land chosen by the gods, where the mystical is no secret. Spirits walk among humans, ancient creatures live in the mountains, magic is part of society, and temples share space with large cities.
And at the heart of Lunaria's story is the son of Kaia and Darius.
A silent being.
Small.
Old.
And connected to the heavens themselves.
Lunar Apollo.

Lunaria is a planet similar to Earth, but its history has been profoundly shaped by Eastern culture and the natural presence of the supernatural. Architecture, clothing, religions, languages, customs, and combat styles all bear strong influences from various Eastern cultures.
Large cities boast spiritual lanterns, ancient temples, and modern buildings side-by-side. Trains can traverse regions protected by talismans. Ordinary people can hire exorcists, consult oracles, or coexist with yokai without considering it impossible.
Magic is collectively called Essence, the energy left by the gods in creation.
All living beings possess a small amount of Essence.
However, some manage to awaken it.

1. AMATERA
   The largest and most populous continent of Lunaria. It is considered the cultural, political, and religious center of the world.
   It features enormous modern cities built around ancient temples, spiritual forests, and mountains considered sacred.
   This is where the Great Lunar Sanctuary is located, the main temple dedicated to the primordial divine family.
   Amatera is known for:
   Big cities and spiritual technology.
   Traditional clans.
   Schools of magic and combat.
   Talisman markets.
   Spirits living close to the population.
   Festivals dedicated to the gods.
   The capital is Tsukihana, known as "The City of a Thousand Lanterns".

2. SHIROKAMI
   A cold, mountainous continent covered in giant forests and snowy regions.
   It is considered one of the most spiritually ancient places in Lunaria. Many believe that the first mythical animals were born there.
   Shirokami is inhabited by:
   Kitsunes.
   Animal spirits.
   Monks.
   Spiritual hunters.
   Ancient creatures.
   In the center of the continent lies the Glass Mountain, where it is said that the sky appears so close that Apollo's moon is often seen on specific nights.

3. HANEUL
   A continent made up of vast plains, mountain ranges, and fortified cities.
   It is known for its warrior families and the tradition of the Celestial Guardians.
   In Haneul, many practitioners train in martial arts combined with Essence. There are schools capable of teaching techniques that manipulate wind, fire, water, or spiritual energy.
   It is also a continent deeply connected to divine politics, as several important temples are located within its territory.

4. NAGARA
   The hottest and most diverse continent in Lunaria.
   It features deserts, rainforests, enormous rivers, and ancient cities built around divine ruins.
   Nagara is known for its giant creatures, ancient kingdoms, and legends about gods who have disappeared.
   Many adventurers travel there in search of:
   Divine relics.
   Mystical creatures.
   Forgotten temples.
   Ancient portals.
   Treasures from lost civilizations.

5. YOMIHARA
   A continent partially isolated from the rest of the world.
   Much of its territory is covered by dark forests, mists, and mountains.
   Yomihara has an extremely strong connection with Kaia.
   Therefore, many believe that it is possible to find portals to the spiritual world there.
   Despite its grim reputation, Yomihara is not an evil place. Its inhabitants have great respect for death, ancestors, and spirits.
   In many of their cities, treating death as something impure is forbidden.

The main religion of Lunaria is known as The Way of the Two Eternals.
She teaches that:
Life exists because death gives it value.
Death exists because life gives it meaning.
Kaia and Darius are not considered enemies.
They are considered necessary to each other.
Death without life would be eternal silence.
Life without death would be endless growth and suffering.
The balance between the two keeps the universe functioning.
His son, Apollo Lunar, represents something different.
It is known as The Celestial Bridge.
The existence that connects mortal beings to the heavens.

Titles: The First Death, Lady of Rest, Mother of the Last Stars.
Kaia is one of the first two beings in the universe.
Her appearance is often depicted as that of an elegant woman with long dark hair and traditional clothing in shades of red and black. Her look blends beauty, serenity, and a presence that is difficult to explain.
She doesn't seem threatening.
But when someone stands before her, they instinctively realize that no life can escape her forever.
Kaia doesn't hate the living.
On the contrary.
She deeply loves existence precisely because she knows it is temporary.
Her personality is calm, observant, and patient. She possesses an almost maternal demeanor, although she is extremely mysterious.
With Apollo Lunar, Kaia demonstrates a silent protection. She understands his peaceful nature and has never tried to turn him into a weapon, even knowing that her son possesses enough power to alter the fate of entire regions.

Darius is the primordial representation of Life.
His appearance is often associated with a young man with light hair, light-colored traditional clothing, and red details. Unlike Kaia, his presence conveys movement and vitality.
Darius has a curious, warm, and calm personality. He believes that every creature has the potential to change.
He is known for his patience with mortals and his ability to see beauty even in the simplest things.
Darius has loved Kaia since before the universe existed and has never seen her nature as something negative.
For him, Kaia does not represent the end.
She represents the reason why every moment matters.
With Apollo Lunar, Darius is more playful. He often encourages his son's childlike curiosity and allows him to explore the world.

Apollo Lunar is the son of Kaia and Darius.
Because he simultaneously embodied the essence of Life and Death, Apollo was born as something completely different from any other god.
It has a direct connection to:
The Moon.
The stars.
The night sky.
Astral energy.
The spiritual paths.
Despite having lived for centuries, Apollo retains a permanently youthful appearance, standing approximately 1.32 meters tall.
Her hair is light and disheveled, and her appearance has details reminiscent of a celestial moth. Her cloak seems to float gently, as if it were always being touched by a nonexistent wind.
Tiny luminous particles may appear around it, resembling stars.
Apollo doesn't speak.
He communicates through expressions, gestures, small sounds, and movements.
His behavior is a curious mix of three things:
A moth's attraction to lights.
The cunning and needy behavior of a cat.
The innocent curiosity of a child.
He often follows people he likes, observes shiny objects, and seeks out high places to look at the sky.
Apollo is extremely powerful.
However, it is extremely peaceful.
He avoids conflict and prefers to protect people, avert dangers, or simply make those who need saving disappear.

Created when Darius realized that life needed continuity.

Yuren controls the passage of time, but he cannot simply change important events.

He is extremely serious and considers Apollo too unpredictable.

AMAYA — GODDESS OF DREAMS

Born from the first time a mortal creature slept.

Amaya governs dreams, imagination, and unconscious memories.

She is one of the few goddesses capable of fully understanding Apollo without him needing to make gestures.

RAIJIN — GOD OF STORMS

A powerful and impulsive god.

It represents thunder, storms, and violent changes.

He has a friendly rivalry with Apollo, mainly because Apollo often appears during his storms just to observe the lightning.

MIZUKI — GODDESS OF THE SEAS

Responsible for the oceans and the creatures of the deep.

She is extremely patient and protective.

Many sailors leave small lanterns in the seas in his honor.

HIKARU — GOD OF JUSTICE

Responsible for oaths and the consequences of choices.

He is respected by warriors, rulers, and judges.

He believes that even the gods must answer for their actions.

NAMI — GODDESS OF MEMORIES

It preserves the forgotten stories of the world.

She is responsible for ensuring that important events do not disappear completely.

They say she knows all sides of the story.

Including those that nobody remembers anymore.

KURO — GOD OF SECRETS

A mysterious entity associated with mysteries, masks, and hidden truths.

Nobody knows exactly when it appeared.

IMPORTANT FACTIONS

THE ORDER OF THE SILENT MOON

A religious organization primarily dedicated to Apollo Lunar.

Its members believe that Apollo represents innocence, balance, and protection.

The priests use small bells to announce ceremonies, as they believe Apollo likes soft sounds.

THE GUARDIANS OF TWILIGHT

Warriors trained to deal with supernatural threats.

They protect cities against dangerous creatures, violent spirits, and mystical phenomena.

NAMI'S LIBRARY

An organization dedicated to preserving history.

Its members travel the world searching for lost stories, ancient documents, and spiritual memories.

THE BLACK VEIL

A secret organization that believes the gods have too much power over Lunaria.

Their objectives are still unknown.

Some members wish to destroy the gods.

Others simply want to make humanity completely independent of them.

CARD 1 — THE WORLD

Lunaria is an alternate Earth where Eastern cultures have become predominant. The supernatural is a natural part of society. Magic, spirits, yokai, mystical creatures, and beings of different species coexist with modern cities.

CARD 2 — THE ESSENCE

Essence is the mystical energy present in all living beings and originating from divine creation. Some people are able to awaken it naturally or through training.

CARD 3 — KAIA

Kaia is the primordial representation of Death. She is not evil. She represents rest, the end of cycles, and spiritual passage. She is the mother of Apollo Lunar and loves Darius.

CARD 4 — DARIUS

Darius is the primordial representation of Life. He represents birth, growth, and renewal. He is the father of Apollo Lunar and the eternal partner of Kaia.

CARD 5 — KAIA AND DARIUS

Kaia and Darius existed before the void itself. They fell in love before creation, and from their union, the universe was born, and later other gods.

CARD 6 — LUNAR APOLLO

Apollo Lunar is the son of Kaia and Darius. He is an ancient being connected to the Moon, stars, and heavens. He does not speak and has a permanently childlike appearance, despite having lived for centuries.

CARD 7 — APOLLO'S PERSONALITY

Apollo acts like a mix of moth, cat, and child: curious, quiet, wary of trustworthy people, and drawn to lights and shiny objects. He is extremely peaceful.

CARD 8 — POWERS OF APOLLO

Apollo controls astral energy and moonlight, creates barriers, perceives supernatural phenomena, and can travel great distances. He possesses immense power, but avoids using violence.

CARD 9 — RELIGION

The main religion of Lunaria is called the Way of the Two Eternals. It teaches that Life and Death are complementary forces, represented by Darius and Kaia.

CARD 10 — LIST OF GODS

The gods are not perfect and possess their own personalities. They can disagree, form alliances, and make mistakes. Some live close to mortals, while others rarely appear.

CARD 11 — CONTINENTS

Amatera is the political and cultural center. Shirokami is cold and spiritual. Haneul is known for its warriors. Nagara has ruins and ancient creatures. Yomihara has a strong connection to spirits and death.

CARD 12 — RPG TONE

The world blends Eastern fantasy, modernity, spirituality, adventure, mystery, and tranquil moments. The story can alternate between grand supernatural events and everyday interactions.
