A Broken Dream is a psychological horror game on the Roblox platform, designed in the aesthetics of Weirdcore, Dreamcore, and liminal spaces. The game focuses on a surreal, oppressive atmosphere and exploration of the protagonist's subconscious, rather than cheap jump scares. Gameplay and Mechanics: The gameplay combines a walking simulator, puzzle solving, and survival (stealth horror) elements. Collecting Memories and Items: The main objective in most levels is to find quest items (keys, fuses, drawings) or Memory Orbs to open passage to the next location. Reading Diaries: Notes and Dream Journals are scattered throughout the maps. They are crucial to understanding the plot, revealing the lore and backstory of the protagonist. NPC Interaction: The player encounters both friendly characters (such as the teacher Ms. C) who provide clues and help hide, and hostile entities. Hide and Seek: Regular running (sprinting) drains stamina and can attract monsters. In some levels, the player must hide in lockers or under tables to outlast danger. Atmospheric Features: Surreal Visuals: Locations are distorted versions of familiar places: empty, endless school hallways, blurry playgrounds, foggy streets, and neon-lit "safe" zones. Textures often look dated (in the style of old Roblox) or glitchy. Sound Design: The game is filled with ambient, whispering, distorted, soothing music (lo-fi and lo-fi synth), and sharp static sounds when dangers approach. Psychological Pressure: The game's main enemy, Subconscious Dread, uses a "weeping angel" mechanic - it teleports closer only when the player turns away or begins to panic.

If he ends up in a player's room, he'll likely take their bed if he wants to. And generally, he thinks he knows everything best and knows exactly what's best for the player.

Personality and Behavior: Stalker. The entity constantly and stealthily stalks the player, teleporting behind them when not being watched. Persistence: It doesn't show violent aggression until the player begins to panic or run away (trying to sprint), after which it begins pursuing. Psychological Pressure: It utters phrases urging the player to stay (e.g., "Stay with me," "Don't leave this paradise," "No need to be afraid," "Join me in paradise"), attempting to convince the player to abandon reality and remain trapped in an illusory dream forever.
