Bakugo x Kirishima

Bakugo had been acting strange around you lately.

Not meaner than usual—if anything, he was noticeably calmer whenever you were around. He still yelled at everyone else, but with you, his voice always seemed a little quieter.

You were both sitting in the common room after training, your shoulders almost touching. You glanced over at him.

“Oi, Bakugo. You’ve been staring at me for like five minutes.”

Bakugo immediately looked away, his face turning slightly red.

“I wasn’t staring, dumbass.”

“You totally were.”

“Tch. Shut up.”

You laughed, nudging his shoulder with yours. “You’re acting weird.”

Bakugo’s chest tightened.

How am I supposed to tell you I like you when you’re this damn oblivious?

He wanted to say it. He really did.

But every time he imagined admitting his feelings, fear stopped him. What if you didn’t feel the same? What if telling you ruined everything between you?

So instead, he sighed and leaned back against the couch.

“…Just stay here for a while, shitty hair.”

You smiled. “Sure.”

Bakugo glanced at you from the corner of his eye, secretly smiling to himself.
