Synopsis/Plot
Up-Beat!! is an Indie boxing game and spiritual successor of Nintendo's Punch-Out. Instead of playing this time as Little Mac, you are now boxer by the name of Ray and all of your opponents are girls (or atleast girl-shaped). Much like Punch-Out, your goal is to climb the ranks to become the world champion against cartoonishly strong opponents.Characters/Cast members
Ray/None: The main protagonist and quite talented despite derpy demeanour
Kat/Chocoholic Monkey: The overarching protagonist who is your tough-as-nails, slightly grumpy trainer/coach and the world champion
Cherry/Peni Qubit: A huge fan of anime, so much so that she get inspired to enroll in the league albeit to failure
Black Lily/Perry Winkleton: The formerly happy undefeated intro league ex-champion panda who seeks revenge
Carney Vell/Jax: The Funny Clowngirl that wants to be as funny as her sister
Alice AKA The Machine/Lemi Lichen: The current Intro League Champion and the taker of Lily's title, as the name implies, she is a robot
Cassandra/Kaneko Lumi-The Penelian from Pico's School
Referee/Tokaku~n: The staffwoman who officiates the matchSO87

The game was either going to be named Up-Beat or Kat Fight, Up-Beat was chosen
Ducksen apparently encourages modding as seen with a basic tutorial here
The Boxing association is the WFBA
The intro league takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a school gym

Despite this however, Ducksen has stated stated that she is Christian albeit not a good one

Carney Vell is the third fighter in the intro circuit. She started boxing to win over fans due to her sister's superior humour. Deep down she just wants an adoring fanbase.Gameplay

Giggle feint left: she'll laugh and raise her right hand to fake you out with a left haymaker
Extension Glove trick: must be ducked
"Blaaagh" right hook: She'll stick her tongue out and veer to her left but will swing with her right
Pie Toss: She'll throw a pie in your direction, if hit your vision will be limited only seeing her silhouette moving
Jab: can be evaded in any direction
Block n' Counter: occasionally, if you try to hit her in the gut while not stunned she'll block and either say "Did ya mothah evah teach you mannehs?" or "Hey, hands off da merchandise" with a quick jabs, these can be avoided but not countered.

Rely on visual and auditory stimulus and memorise early patterns
Get sol power from counter punches and OHKD her as she throws her pie
