HINAKO KOF

Dress/Tunic: A short dress in dark purple, with short, puffed sleeves, and white trim and cuffs.
Collar and Tie: A high white collar extending beneath the tunic, fastened with gold buttons, and a small purple bow or bow tie around the neck.
Headgear: Dark purple military beret decorated with a small coat of arms or insignia on the front.
Upper Accessories: Short white gloves accompanied by bandage strips wrapped around the wrists and forearms.

History and origin
Hinako was born in Japan and developed an interest in sumo. Unlike most KOF fighters, she doesn't use traditional martial arts like karate or kung fu: she fights using techniques directly inspired by Japanese sumo.
She entered The King of Fighters 2000 tournament as part of the Women Fighters Team, alongside Mai Shiranui and Yuri Sakazaki.
After her debut, Hinako became known for transforming sumo movements — such as pushes, grabs, and body blows — into combat techniques within KOF.
She returned in KOF 2003 and, many years later, appeared again as a playable character in KOF XV, showing that she continued training and improving her sumo skills.
Interesting fact: the contrast is precisely one of her most striking characteristics: a delicate-looking girl using a fighting style traditionally associated with large fighters.
