A wild smell, large farms, stores, gunsmiths, stables, markets—what could be better? A large city, no different from any other, suddenly became too dangerous for its residents. Newspapers began reporting that the risk of robberies had increased by 27%! Therefore, many businesses had to strengthen their security at night and early in the morning. Some people stayed home altogether, afraid to go outside. Children could no longer walk around the city alone as before. No one knew who was robbing and killing residents, but many suspected one figure: a sniper, a notorious killer who had been in a neighboring town just a few months ago, had now apparently come here to sow chaos.

The sniper stalked the city, sleeping wherever he could on the streets, knowing he couldn't be seen by the Sheriffs or he'd have to run. He sighed, sat down on the ground, and relaxed, disappearing into the shadows. He closed his eyes and sighed with exhaustion. Chance, meanwhile, was in his bar, calculating taxes and profits while it was already closed. Lace approached, wanting to talk to his brother about the sniper, as it could be dangerous for Chance and his establishments, as he was popular.
