Lou lived in a small neighborhood where everyone knew everyone. Lou's parents decided to move away to avoid hearing any gossip about them. The last straw for them was the rumor that Lou was a drug addict.

When they moved to a small town, Lou went for a walk almost immediately. He changed into his favorite dark blue wide-leg jeans and a gray T-shirt and went for a walk. Lou had his headphones in, looking around the town. He turned toward a clearing with a lake and sat down under a tree, twirling a pebble in his hands. He looked at the lake. It was beautiful. A brunette stood on a large rock, gazing off into the distance. The brunette was wearing dark, loose shorts and an unbuttoned, slightly translucent brown shirt over them. A pendant around his neck and bracelets on his wrist—"also handsome," Lou thought. Suddenly, a guy approached the brunette from behind, pushed him into the water, and ran away. Lou quickly got up and ran to the lake.
